The first series of Fargo was one of my favourites of recent years. Second one was not quite as good but still better than most of what is on TV.

Anyone watching The Crown? I don't have Netflix but I read that it shows the Duke of Edinburgh having many affairs in the 1950s. I can't imagine the BBC or ITV daring to portray that.

Not seen it and have't been that fussed to but did read somewhere that the author of the series was far from a royalist and even went as far as to say that he thought the Queen was of 'limited intelligence'.

So through that lens, rather than a gushing Witchelesque type reverance, it's made it more appealing - plus it's has some great reviews.

I wonder if the series when it moves on a bit will show Prince Andrew's father as Lord Portchester.

Just finished watching The Sinner and found it good tv.

Think there doing a second series but it seemed like it should be left at one series

I watched both seasons of The Crown. Well worth $100 million of Netflix's money per season.

Bloody great film. Frances McDormand definitely deserves an Oscar for it. Might be my fave female actor.

Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan were pretty good in their respective films too, though.

Lady Bird is a brilliant film (though it's not even out in cinemas here until mid-February), probably a top 5 of 2017 film for me.

I, Tonya is a pretty good film as well, Robbie's performance in particular.

    It really is.

I loved Three Billboards and want to see it again.

I thought Dunkirk had its moments of drama and joy.

I ****ing hated Darkest Hour. Boring dialogue and improbable plot devices. There simply wasn’t a film there, it was just two hours of impressive prosthetics.
