Is it too late for me to discuss how ****ing turgidly woeful Adrien Brody was in Peaky Blinders? Unless the director specifically asked him to play a pantomime version of Brando in The Godfather then it was one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. And I normally think he’s good.

Tom Hardy acted the **** out of him.

Agreed Bummers, Tom Hardy's character in the series is excellent and he performs it brilliantly. No spoilers, can't wait for the next series.

Happy New Year and welcome back <ok>

It was a bit of a weird Godfather impersonation, he was by far the weakest character. To be honest, I thought Hardy was a bit too over the top as well at the start, but by the final series he was absolutely brilliant.

I agree. I was hoping he was gunna choke on that cocktail stick he had in his gob. He was crap at rolling that from side to side too.

Totally agree, he spoilt a decent series; although I would also nominate Paul Alexander (Arthur Shelby) as a close runner-up.

An earlier comparison led me to watch Godfather 1 yesterday - good, as ever.

This morning I have chilled with The Last of the Mohicans - this film has it all, a script that tells a wonderful story, great location and photography, superb stunts, a soundtrack that meshes with the screen beyond compare and not just great acting, but superb acting.

Probably my favourite film, as, in addition to all of the above, the period and environment is one I would have embraced.

    Just saying... <laugh>

I want to know why all the thugs in Peaky Blinders walk round like they've got a coat hanger stuck in the back of their jackets. As in,

The amount of slo-mos this series of them walking exactly like this, in a line, was preposterous. It was like they didn’t have enough scenes to fill the hour so they decided to slow loads of them down.
