The Mire, set in communist Poland, and the Mire 97 set in post communist Poland are pretty good. Seems pre and post communist the coppers there are pretty dodgy.
 
I recently watched Clarkson's Farm, it was a surprisingly interesting programme.

It's slightly spoiled by Clarkson quite obviously doing things wrong on purpose (Top Gear style), but there's less of that the longer it goes on and I quite enjoyed it.

ive told people who hate clarkson that its still watchable.
what did you think of caleb and what did you make of gerald?
 
Kaleb’s good and Gerald’s hilarious, he’s like a character from The Fast Show.

just like you say with clarkson playing up to the cameras and almost ruining episode 1 i wondered how much of gerald was "enhanced" for the viewers.
when i was a lad was it stanley unwin who spoke a bit like that?
