You obviously don't know the difference between 'effective' and 'successful'.
Or arse and elbow.
You obviously don't know the difference between 'effective' and 'successful'.
well I mean, just how effective cant be announced until after April.
the KC holds 25,400, of the season pass holders, just how many have sent a postcard against the plans or signed the petition?
Maybe you are Denis Durham, Eddie Blackburn, Nicky Featherstone, Ryan France, Davy Jordan, Steve Melton( this would be very apt!) Ben Morley, Steve S(Wales)or Ronald Haworth? I wonder who these chaps played for?
Nothing to do with our name change, but the KCIC(Keep Coventry In Coventry) protest at the Emirates went quite well last night...

after reading http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25749335, it seems to me that AA is trying to do the right thing by all of us. He saved the club financially but cannot afford to keep putting his own money in.
So to ensure that we are still where we are in the BPL he is trying to market us to India or the Far East.
I for one applaud him and all you emotional ****s hate him for it?
oh he should have let us go to the wall.
There is truth in the saying, "no good deed goes unpunished"!
Because there is no proof of any gain in changing the name to Hull Tigers to market in foreign countries.
The only evident proof is that it will decrease sales in England with actual fans of Hull deciding to boycott games and such.
I thought that was fairly obvious, even to you PNc2.
after going to southend yesterday, ive got to admit it was a nice stroll down memory lane, but to be honest i wouldnt wanna go back down to those divisions, crap grounds falling apart, crap pitch, crap teams, jus wondering how many of these so called 13 thou will be attending games like dag n red, accrinton, burton, on a cold wet tuesday nite ? Or even at home ?????
If allam goes an we will drop , at least 90 % of the so called ctwd will stop going fact......... Leaving us fans rite down the leauges again ? The majority of you wasnt there then and wont be there again if you get ur way, allams put his money in, took us to certainly the best city side ive ever seen , were strong and getting stronger, i just hope this minority of plastic fans dont get there own way, you dont speak for us we are the majority we travel home and away and have done for many years, support mr allam

The "not anti" camp seem to struggle with what the issue and the implications are. Despite their claims, few are against Mr Allam, most are grateful for what he's helped achieve. They seem to think he'll stop putting money in if the name change fails, despite him saying he'll stop putting money in whichever way it goes.
Walking away's not an option for his business (could be for him) so a sale wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. or a certainty.
It's as you say, changing the name achieves nothing that can't be done with the current name and nick name.

And you don't speak for me. Forty five years, pass holder every year for over 30, seen City play at virtually every league ground in the country. I've seen all the crap that countless owners have thrown at us in nearly half a century but never come across any football club owner willing to discard such loyalty, and masquerade a personal argument as progress. Would you have accepted his lies and deceit in league 2? Fez is right, he has a personal agenda and Hull City is a stepping stone, how can anyone accept his word if he is ready to discard the club if anyone dares to question him. I follow Hull City wherever, if you are scared of the ups and downs of football then you obviously won't.
