Did they give any indication if they thought it was too complicated or that they feared litigation? Either way, it's a piss poor excuse from a debate programme isn't it.
Okay, to expand on that; he was a young guy who listened to, more or less, what I have above; he then said that it was problematic and that they 'really couldn't say those things'. I challenged that (surprised Dutch?), I explained that I would make my point in such a way that would be acceptable and that their time-lapse would support that; he went quiet for a short time, I carried on driving south on the A1 and I had the feeling he was referring to another. He came back fairly quickly and said thanks and that he would call me back shortly - That was the last I heard as I fought the natural urge to drive to Hull and confront Dean Windass, a Hessle Rd lad, as I am, for the massive betrayal he had publicly carried out - I now have zero respect for him.
