Not actually true. The owner doesn't want a ballot because he is the owner. And major shareholder. And Chairman of the Company. Allowing a ballot would create a precedent. No owner, Company, or Chairman would allow that precedent to be set - or we'd all be voting for RBS to give us a million quid each.

If the owner thought he'd win the ballot, he'd have held one already.

Unfortunately the only one of those figures with any validity is the paid membership figure. I've seen petitions apparently signed (several times) by Adolph Hitler, and I have a houseful of campaign badges and flyers that have been shoved in my hands at one time or another for all sorts of crap. The 1000 scarves will mostly be in with the 1500 members.

However the 1500 paid members is a good figure and more than I would have expected.

The only one with any validity is the one the FA asked the OSC to organise. Unfortunately that didn't take place because the club threatened to remove the OSC privileges. I wonder what the FA thinks about that.

Yes it is, one with principles and a determined drive to succeed FOR the club, not for himself, not for a short term gain, it makes a nice refreshing change.

To the hatemongers - I assume the people who threatened to hand in passes, boycott games, boycott club merchandise if they don't get their own way are also evil blackmailers and should be ridiculed and are also not wanted?

The term you are looking for is customers. <ok>

Cheers for the response. <ok>

I thought that the majority were against, but that's only based on this forum, so if you're telling me on a matchday it's different, I can only take your word for it.

The majority are against, that's why our owner is refusing to ballot the fans, despite an earlier promise that he would.

There is a way to prove your point....if it's true.

Call for a boycott of the next home game and let's see how many turn up.

Prove once and for all you have a majority .

Do it.

We don't have to do it. The OSC could have done it at the Chelsea match but the club forced them to back down. The ball is in the FA's court. They will consider all the evidence, including the refusal of Assem Allam to allow the OSC to hold a ballot and come to a decision.

The fat lady is about to start singing.

It is that simple. Without the debt to Allamhouse we are a Premier League club with next to no debt. If he is serious about walking away he's only option is to sell. Yes he could say he's walking away and Ehab is in charge, but do you think that would that be credible?

Yes, he could give the club to somebody else but would you take it with a debt of £100 million owed to Allamhouse?

If the FA say no it is likely he'll either accept the decision and try and get Hull City into Europe of look at selling which would mean writing off a significant proportion of the Allamhouse loan. That's how business works.

Since when has Assem Allam been concerned about appearing credible? He is far more concerned about money, powers and manipulation. Business can work in many ways; looking at it through the narrow perspective you offer is, in my opinion, far too simplistic. Allam is anything but a simple man.

So you have a majority obi

But you won't call for a boycott of the next home game to show the world you have the majority

Postcard update - We've now had another 5,000 postcards printed and these will be available to collect from various retailers all over the city. I'll post a list once they're all confirmed. <ok>

I wonder why Assem allam didn't allow the OSC to conduct a ballot of City supporters at the Chelsea match. If he had all this who is in the majority would have been over.
a ballot is capable of telling him what he should do and that is not allowed. But be careful, as that is a much repeated question and that brings canine fire and brimstone on here. <laugh><laugh>

Yes BUT everyone could go to the game and vote no ,
:-)
so still prove that there's a majoriy.

Personally I hope he stays.

HULL CITY OR HULL TIGERS.

BUT he is welcome to **** off if he wants .

What he said yesterday was a threat.

I don't like threats.

Were I would have been pissed off IF he walked.

Right now I couldn't give a ****.

HULL CITY / HULL TIGERS I would still go.

Yet if its Hull City he says he will walk.

If there was a boycott of a game......right now I wouldn't go.

Not because of the name change stuff but because of his cnutish
Threats yesterday.

Grrrrrr
