I class Rodgers with Laudrup personally, the graft was Martinez & Sousa IMO.

Not a Rodgers fan but I think it's a bit harsh, he did promote and consolidate them in the premier league, an important phase in the progress, not the foundations no but and important phase none the less.

Credit to him for that but I feel that whoever went in after Sousa had a great setup. Club had been superbly run and managed for a few years and it was ready to go.

Ha. You'll get used to Wandy. May take you a while. He is usually mr real positive. But seems he is taking Sams leaving badly. Suprised at his thoughts on moyes. Im usually the negative one but over the moon with this.

Now get back to that spot. Yoh have been wandy'd.

Ha.

Oh definitely, I just think Rodgers was an important phase for Laudrup to even get a sniff. I mean, I couldn't have seen Laudrup getting them promoted, not enough attacking intent for me to promote a team from that league,

One of the lads from my work was at Pools last night and spoke to Jo'sh who said it's Moyes and all of the players know that already.

@Tobes Moyes is rubbish man - he'll always start low down in the league before getting better - I mean - alphabetically we're miles behind you lot :)

Full scale mate. A hurt badger could make a side with Suarez in look decent. Badly hurt.

Run over, two broken legs, broken pelvis, skull ****ed by a passing deer, set on fire, punched by a Newcastle fan in the face, pissed on, rolled up in a ball and duct taped and chucked into the path of a passing tractor, un-taped, set on fire again, kicked for 200 yards, hit round the back of the head with a spade, dumped in a shallow beck, bitten by passing fish for 3 months, pissed on and **** on by a cow, shot with an air rifle for practice in the mouth.

Still be better football manager beaver than Rodgers.

Yeah I get that to a degree, but they were a very good side ready to go.

Moyes is the man anyway, it's a perfect fit.

Obvious choice unless we were really going to show some real intent and throw some money about but that ain't happening. Moyes for me.

I always thought Sousa was a vastly underrated manager and I agree he carried on the work of Martinez to the next level..

Martinez was adored down there and that for me was Sousa's achilles heel..

Fans on a managers back, not good for the managers soul..<ok>

Agree entirely Joe. Sousa did come a little short but it really was a little, they'd have gone up next season regardless in my eyes.

He went in after 2 managers had done superb groundwork, carried the momentum and won a trophy.

It then started to fall apart and the Swans fans were fairly happy he went. He didn't build anything solid.
Yeah you've a good point there but I still have big doubts about Moyes - nevertheless I'll be fully supportive of whoever comes in unlike our pretentious nearest and dearest up the road - <doh><doh><doh> - ......<cheers>
