    <quote>
    Lionel Messi was allegedly interested in a shock transfer to Arsenal before he signed a new contract with Barcelona just two months ago.
    </quote>

    So "interested in a shock transfer" in the same way a tormented nutter is "interested" in ECT ??

    Wenger would put him on the bench because he is too old.

  7. I bet the question Messi asked was, why, given that all AFC's top stars (Fab, Naz, RVP, Sanga, Bentley, etc) keep leaving, is their contract so ****?

  8. Hey, Mousers! I've just worked a brilliant put-down/come back for next season.

    When rival fans chant, "Are you Southampton in disguise?" your lot can chant back, "No, we are Southampton!"

    Please, don't credit me for this, you can have this one for free.

    Plus - and here's the real bonus - when 'Pool finish 8th in the league, you'll be able to say to all your critics, "See! We told you we are Saints!"

    any truth in the rumour that liverpool are putting a bid in for southamptons ground?

  10. Not sure about that one, but I did hear that their Yanky owner wants to change the club's name to The Mersey Saints. He reckons it will garner the club a better support in the States.

    I would imagine that Southampton plod would be crapping themselves at the prospect. I'm sure they have enough crime of their own without car thefts quadrupling overnight!...

    Wow this is getting pretty tame, you guys are running on empty as you drift once again into insignificance, whilst we regain are rightful place in Europe's elite. Perhaps you'll manage to score a goal against us next season? big ask though, although your players would be ecstatic and it would make their year.

    Unless I am going blind, Liverpool are rated 46th, whilst Spurs are 15th............................................ But never mind, making it into the top 50 for the deluded scousers carries the same kudos as finishing second. Hang on though...........................................................................................................................we could bring a book out about it.

    "we could bring a book out about it"

    How they were ahead of Racing Genk in the table all season, only for Slippy G to blow it. :(

    I know what you mean, bloody scouse tunes!

    And can people be sure they know which club they are responding to. RDBD is Spurs, so Weararedbonnet's response makes no sense and Weararedbonnet is very Utd, so why Sir Red is posting a "Spurs" song in response to him, I have no idea. Alternatively you are all mad.

    If Man Utd supporters are reading and commenting here, then the gospel message of HIAG has
    travelled into the wider world. :)
