The lad scored a goal and had a hand in another, he had Tiote in his pocket all day long, he also worked his socks off sowhy shouldn't he be considered for MOTM? they all worked their arses of, including Altidore and in fact the only one who didn't was Mannone and that's cos the defence were so ****ing good he had **** all to do.

Colback was MOTM. He shaded Bardo for me simply as he scored, Both were superb.

I agree but application is the key ....... Kevin Keegan became a top player by effort, not talent.
Not really and while I'm not Altidores biggest fan I will admit the lad put a shift in today, should have score when we were at 2-0 which would have eased the pressure earlier, but hats iof to the lad, he played like would expect him tom play. He got stuck in and grafted as did they all.
Fletch in case you didn't notice wasn't in the squad, injuries mush, so why would I want him to play?

Sorry mate I'm not disputing Altidore did some things right today, but he also fell over a lot and looked like he couldn't trap a bag of cement as well.
When Borini ripped the scum defence another new arsehole and got past two players to the byline any other striker would have blasted into the box to get on the end of his pass.
Altidore just stood still edge of the box and Borini had to pass it backwards to him.
Altidore then waddled into the box with the ball to be smothered by defenders.
Its one of those games when you cant pick a MOM. All the lads were brilliant

The other day you said you would start Fletcher over Altidore & thats before you knew Fletcher was f**k. yes Altidore should of scored but it's not all about scoring is it.
Yes I prefer Fletcher to Altidore, he's a better (proven) scorer and that's what we need now, unfortunately he's carrying an injury so we're not seeing the best of him. I'd still play him ahead of Altidore though.
