My London neighbours are either African or Asian. They are all fine people who have worked tirelessly and contributed to society. I'd trust them all with the family silver.

They have all voiced anger and frustration at how many of the new breed of migrants come with their hands outstretched, expecting it all on a plate. And we give it to them.

We have enough of our own piss-takers, let alone importing more. And all because the hand-wringing liberals tell us it's the right thing to do.

It stinks.

Spent on his 4th property.

Of course, but there are other issues apart from immigration.
Immigration is by far this country's biggest issue, as it bleeds into every aspect of daily life.

The economy, housing, hospitals, schools, prisons, the welfare state would all improve if we had five million fewer people.

The cost to the taxpayer for migrant hotels, benefits, stays at His Majesty's pleasure, health care, schooling etc runs into hundreds of billions each year.

That is not cost-effective migration. It is sheer madness.

Of course, but they are all exacerbated by immigration. Take away net migration and all the other issues become easier to deal with. Keep increasing net migration and all the other issues become harder to deal with.
Take away the huge amount servicing the national debt would make a bigger difference, but getting it down would cause weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. Net migration has been falling sharply in the last 2 years, although for some reason we don't hear about that. You can check the figures just by googling Immigration.

Yes and national debt would be a lot less without the net migration of the past decade.

And nice try, but saying that net migration is falling is only agreeing that net migration is adding to our problems.

Over 200,000 extra people in the country per year (and that’s just the ones we know about) is what is making all the other problems we have worse.

Yes net migration has fallen. Thanks to action taken by this Government and the outgoing Conservative one. I've heard various Labour people trying to take all the credit in last week. However there is an underlying problem with just looking at the Net figures. They look quite good because we lost approx 100k educated young British people. Obtaining truly accurate statistics for this is more or less impossible. It is the so called brain drain. Anyhow 200k is still too large. That means we have to build infrastructure roughly the size of Southampton every year. I know there lots saying we need them because of our aging population, but importing 300k and exporting 100k better educated people is not great. Especially as we're going to end up paying for their education prior to University at the very least.

And who will look after those 200,000+ per year when they are old and need care. Oh look we’ll need an additional 300,000+ per year to look after them. And on and on. It’s utter madness.

Deport. Deport. Deport.

That's the only way to revive this country.

We simply have too many people who are not contributing and are a net drain from the minute they arrive here. There are certain peoples who mostly claim benefits and live in social housing. In short, they are pointless.

For some unknown reason, western leaders are wilfully overseeing the destruction of our birthright by allowing this flood of migrants. It is a sickness. And yet there are people who believe in open borders, even though our countries are racing to the bottom.

The Japanese toyed with the idea of unfettered immigration, but quickly saw the negative results and started deporting.

Why can't our leaders see the destruction caused? Are they too scared of offending the left? If so, they are nothing but cowards.

Civilisations destroyed by cowardice.

100 % agree with what you’ve put :emoticon-0148-yes: But called racist for agreeing????

Oh well. I can handle that.

Many, many immigrants who did everything by the book and paid into the system from the off are sick of this new wave who do nothing to enhance our society. Are they racist?

There's nothing racist about wanting to protect your culture, your heritage, your values. We welcome those who come to contribute and abide by the law. We must expel those who come to harm us and take the piss.

French Leaders now saying that Britain giving France £660M for extra Policing to stop the boats won’t make any difference at all to the numbers of illegal migrants crossing the channel.

FFS what is wrong with this country ?

Give me a single gun boat and free rein and I’ll make a difference.

You've got to love the BBC……

UK unemployment rate unexpectedly rises. Unexpectedly ? We have a Labour government, productivity is falling, costs to business are rising, taxes are rising, benefits are rising, we’re importing hundreds of thousands of foreigners we don’t need and yet the BBC don’t expect unemployment to rise ? Give me strength.

NB - I’ve posted this in the Migrant Crisis thread to save Lardi the trouble of moving it later - I know he’s a busy man.

It’s alright, the Police have said that these men are only refugees.

They’re not illegal immigrant criminal scum that are receiving benefits paid for by the taxes you and I pay on our hard earnt wages.

Nothing to see here. In fact this is probably just more divisive comment from zealots of Reform persuasion - distasteful and very unhelpful.

But I can understand how many people may think this type of stupid, divisive comment bearable, as they may be in tune with wider ambitions. Promises of a new direction in British Politics to break the abiding and discredited Tory/Labour mould.

These crass utterings are passed off as "fruity" or cheeky, almost like the rude outbursts of children who aren't old enough to know better, but don't say them with any real malice.

A sign of the times. But they won't attract anyone who may still be thinking about not abandoning the old mainstream Parties.

No one wants these men to come here. No one. Not even the most ardent liberal wants them in their backyard. They bring nothing but doom, degradation and burden.

Whoever solves this issue will rule for a generation.

Therein lies the problem though. The left do want them here, just not anywhere close to themselves. There’s only one party that are even saying that they will solve the issue. Whether they will of course, remains to be seen, but unless you want more and more and more of these stories then why would you vote for any party that isn’t saying they will do something about these types of criminals.

A number of them are coming to rape, steal, murder and ponce, meaning we shouldn't allow any of them to roam freely. It is madness to allow undocumented men to wander about.

Internment camps are needed before slinging them out at the earliest opportunity. We have enough of our own dross, let alone allowing thousands of foreign malefactors to exacerbate the situation.

Now you've crossed the line.

I already withdrew from posting on this thread several weeks ago because of the abuse you subjected me to here.
However, I am still obliged to read the thread contents as part of my responsibilities as moderator.
Now I find you've ridiculed and misrepresented content I posted on another thread and on a different subject - divisive comments made by individuals claiming to represent both ends of the political spectrum - Reform UK and the Green Party.

But rather than engage directly with me in argument on that point, you choose to take things I posted and twist their meaning on this thread.
Clearly you believe that I approve of and defend the actions of child molesters.

That is grossly offensive.
On ITTV I am denounced as an anti-Semite.
Now on this forum I am denounced as a sympathiser with *****philes.
I have nothing more to say to you.

Goodness me. Yet again you are putting words into my post which I have not written. Something which you did recently as well. More leaps, more suppositions in your mind and more words which I simply have not written, but suit you to write in order to create outrage and a bigger divide.

The words I have used of yours were direct lifts from your post and are in context.

The words you have used and meanings derived from them are not words I have written.

If I am wrong and I have said somewhere that you are ‘a sympathiser with *****philes’ or that I believe that you ‘approve of and defend the actions of child molesters’ then show me where I have written that. I won’t offer to apologise if you can, as I know that you can’t as I have not and would not say that.

I stand by everything I have written and if you do the same then of course that’s fine and it’s a difference of opinion. But attributing what would be very unpleasant words to me, that I simply have not used and doing so in a very negative way, will again illicit a robust rebuttal.
