Please remember people; regardless of feelings on here Marshall is very likely to keep his place tonight. Let's try and make peace with that now, and limit any outbreaks of rage later on when it's announced. Hopefully we can focus on discussing something else tonight.

No doubt at full time we can discuss the goals against column taking a turn for the worse.

No doubt it'll be all his fault, regardless of what actually happens. Yawn.

There was nothing the defence could have done to stop Negredo's free header going in, although if Jak was in goal he would hve inspired Curtis Davies into remembering to actually jump.

Some previous confrontations...

I forgot Nobby Stiles spent time at Middlesbrough. John Hickton was a good player. Lethal finishing from Frankie Banks.

Edit. Apparently Wikipedia says Hickton played six games on loan for City. I've no memory of that.

I didn't remember it either so checked the database. He played 6 games in the 76/77 season in January and February scoring once in a 3-0 win against Carlisle.

Marshall in goal?

We'll lose 3 or 4 to nowt. Daws might get a consolation for us.

Won't be Marshall's fault obvz.

Or Phelans.
