My **** thread now has a **** pole, yay.

Or perhaps Mr. Shearer?Wrong. The fans didn't oust Sir Bobby. Another myth. The person who ousted Sir Bobby was Freddy Shepherd.
Fact.

I remember being in the crowd and the fans were chanting at Bobby "you don't know what you're doing, you don't know what you're doing!"
It was ****in embarrassing.
No Groot isn’t lying. He’s stating a fact. The fans can shout but they don’t have the power to sack. Only the man in charge does.Thankyou... i remember ... groot is lieimg because the truth hurts.... groot might not have wanted hom out, but that is the problem with our fans .... ie the MAJORITY are the thickest in the sport.

Do you think if the fans shouted unanimously every game for Messi to be signed that Messi would be signed? If not how do fans have the power to sack but not sign? Some, not all or even the majority may have wanted Sir B out but that didn’t mean Shepherd had to sack.
The fans even ousted bobby robson ffs... fact... he had lost the plot as far as i recall..
I remember !!!!!

I take it you never bothered reading Sir Bobby's book? I take it you didn't listen when Shepherd told all and sundry exactly why he sacked him? That's the horse mouth because he did the sacking. You are simply lumping yourself in with the mackems to continue this diatribe mate. Do you really want to be considered a mackem?
Robson stated two senior players had held a meeting with him and told him they thought he'd lost the team (not lost the plot or control as some reported). There had also been a picture with Robson and an NUFC player behind him sticking two fingers up at him, unbeknown to Robson. Shepherd had to buy the picture and negative off a reporter for 10k. Robson had senior players coming to see him concerned after he appeared to criticise the fans. The section of fans who had a go at that one game. They were still in a minority but I think it is wrong to suggest it was a tiny minority. There were a good few thousand having a pop. That will have played a very small part too even if Shepherd says he thinks he shot bambi because the fans still loved him. The other key factor in Shepherds eyes is we were in decline. The disappointment in Marseille, the league performance was worse than previous 2 seasons, and of course a poor start without a win in 4 games. Of course he was slightly deluded with his assessment but that's neither he nor there.
So once and for all, Freddy Shepherd sacked Robson. He did so because he didn't think he was up to the job. Its not like we are guessing here, the guy who sacked him told everybody why he did it.
I don't why people have to keep being corrected on this, its almost like they're wumming like HIAG...
Either way you are well short on quality muesli clearly
look mate I specifically remember them blaming robson I even almost lamped a local taxi driver for the same reason.
The truth hurts ,but the fans always got their manager out …
the fans created the opportunity for the arsehole shepherd to axe him simple as that.
nothin at all to do with sunderland btw just the reality of my own ****ing eyes and ears
Nah you're clearly a mackem. That is the only reason to ignore the facts in favour of some made up ****. I'm going to call you Jack Ross from now on.
I remember being in the crowd and the fans were chanting at Bobby "you don't know what you're doing, you don't know what you're doing!"

excuse me arsehole but what I hear and see id a fact! funny sheperd sights the exact reasonthe fans were giving at the time ... if there was zero unrest he wouldnt have sacked him simple as that
the fans were deluded beyong belief!!! they make it up as they go along ffs under pardew all they wanted was a team that tries !!!!! rafa gave them exactlt that and low and behold theyd rather lose 4-3
the fans of this club are as much to blame as anyone else
I like you but Im afraid you are making things up because the truth hurts

Its not a fact or truth at all though - your problem is I'm a stickler when the facts are available then they should be used. On this occasion we were given the facts by Freddie Shepherd. Now of course you don't like those facts because it doesn't fit the mackem fairytale you've bought into, but it doesn't change that your belief the fans got Robson sacked is categorically wrong.
You can certainly say a portion of fans turned on Robson. No one disputes that. You can if you choose claim it got him fired like the mackems but its clearly bullshit as the man who sacked him has told us why he was fired. And it wasn't because of the fans. It was because he thought he wasn't up to the job after a number of things. He was wrong of course but it doesn't change that we lost Robson as manager of NUFC because of Freddie Shepherd.
Sorry to be a stickler but you need to concede your error![]()

Holy ****, 2+2 must = shoes in your head mate, if that's the kind of logic you follow then it's nee wonder none of us can make sense of you on here
Just because some fans shouted some stuff and then Shepherd sacked SBR doesn't mean that the fans got him sacked man. He was sacked for the same reason that Souness was, we weren't getting results!
so everything written in books is true
so
I was right about owen.
