I notice you've failed to mention his goal in the UEFA cup final of last season. You've also omitted the fact that he bagged the goal that saw them past Barcelona in the SF of the CL......

He also made 6 appearances, scoring 2 goals, in their FA Cup winning season of 2012......

But of course he deserved nothing, he got his medals by 'default'

btw he scored 22 goals last season, at a rate of just better than 1 in 3

He's currently got 5 in 11 this season, so nearly 1 in 2.....but of course there's no improvement, nor a correlation to Mourinho's arrival....

Well said about the improvement. This year Torres whilst not great has improved and that has coincided with Mourinho's return. Torres isnt the only one to miss sitters (see suarez blasting against the bar from cissokhos ball, Suarez is better in respect he works harder and is more skillful). No doubt Torres won't reach his old level again especially now he has lost his speed and strength but to say he hasn't improved and to disregard his goals outside the premierleague is silly.

The player that half of this forum was didn't really want LFC to sign & I was saying I thought he was class - & he is, arguably the best striker in the league at present.

Or Suarez, who despite being a horror in my book, is a genuine World Class player.......
