True though the thread is just really pointing out that McNulty is only too prepared to **** and think of Maureen rather than the thread pointing out Torres is nowhere near the player he was, that's obvious and needs no pointing out.

The fact that journos talk ****e is hardly news either.

Hull- played ok
Aston Villa - didn't play
Bayern- played and scored
Man Utd- didn't start
Everton - didn't start
FC Basel- didn't play
Fulham- didn't start
Tottenham- worked hard was the centre of a lot of good play before being sent off
Steaua Bucuresti- injured early in game
Norwich City- unavailable
Cardiff- didn't start
Schalke- played well
Man City- played well

This is Torres' season so far, hasn't played that much and the games he played he has done well. He deserves some credit this season for how he has done when he has got the chance.

I think the point is that two good games isn't a "return to form". Let's be honest if you listed Sturridge or Lukaku's performances over the first nine games next to his it would put the ladyboy to shame <ok>

had torres been banned for the first 5 games (i say that as all cheslea players receive 50% of the ban suarez will get, see John "cocksure" Terry) the his goals to games ratio would be far better.... still not as good however as suarez's

This is clearly about league form if you look at the stats in the OP, so here you go, one game played well<ok> That's exactly what you have pointed out and exactly why I think McNulty is full of ****

So European football doesn't exist now and does not count with regards to form, good one. He started three league games and didn't do badly in any of them.

Well I created the thread which is about NcNulty and Torres league return so far, so you decided to make it all about torres and his overall form to make him look better.

I just disagree with McNulty who says there are signs he's back, he clearly needs to bang in 20 goals in the league or near enough to say he's back

This is based on what exactly?

Based on looking at him play for Milan and barca compared to the Russian outfit and chelsea

Are you even trying to suggest he is near as good, sorry, the guy had blistering pace and was extremely dangerous with an excellent finish.

Eto is not that player any more, surely you can see that, not saying he's past it or crap, certainly not but to even suggest he's the player he was 3 4 years would be silly

Funny that the same stick, of playing in a ****e league was used by you lot to beat Suarez as he arrived and kuyt too

You make it about league form to make him look worse, why on earth would you not look at the full picture rather than a portion of it? McNulty has a point, he has done much better this season when he has been given the chance. Whether it will continue is a different matter. I've been Torres' biggest critic but credit where it is due, he has been much better recently.

I make it about the league you trolling idiot because I was on the premier league stats site<doh> Stop trolling bits you think you get leverage on your argument with, you aint

As for being much better, I agree, again you seem to miss the point, it's not about Torres being slightly better than the dross he was it was about McNulty having a **** and trying to say it's down to Maureen, who hasn't been playing him<doh>
