I didn't watch the game. I waited until I seen the line up and noticed JVS in goal and no Oztumer. I thought to myself, I couldn't justify paying £10 to watch a heavy defeat. I listened instead and at half time, I was mad with myself for not watching the game because we sounded very good. We got fortunate a few times where Plymouth didn't punish us with some very good chances in the first half, which they fluffed and some more chances where our keeper actually did something right. Those saves have given him some much needed confidence and the fact that our keeper got MOTM suggests Plymouth had their fair share of chances. I think the difference between the 2 sides on Saturday was we took our chances and Plymouth didn't. I don't think it was a 3-0 game to be fair. But I will take it though!
Westbrooke has now started the last 3 games. We have won them all and he scored 9 in the process - averaging 3 per game. We are creating a lot of chances now and finding the net. Looks like we have sorted our attack out and Ayunga is back. We just need to sort our defence out. Strange saying that after keeping a clean sheet but we could have easily conceded 3 or 4 on Saturday. We look very shaky at the back, especially when the opposition is pushing and putting us under pressure. If we can be more solid, composed and confident at the back, we would go on a very good run.
