From what I can gather, the win tonight was worth £20.000 to us, so not a bad evening's work! The winner in the next round gets £40.000 so let's hope for a winnable kind draw!
If we beat Sheffield Utd I read somewhere that it could be worth £80 000.00 and that would be even better
We host AFC Wimbledon in the next round of Papa Johns Trophy. Match to be played week commencing 11th of January
Not a bad draw. You have 2 of the Southern area favourites picked to face each other Portsmouth vs Peterborough. You have the boat race too Oxford vs Cambridge. Then Northampton vs MK dons. We have a good chance to win the Southern area. Some strong side in the Northern section though.
Hope the strikers are on really good form today otherwise I can see a heavy defeat in the offing with Jordi Van miss the ball in goal Byron Moore and Dominic Telford on the bench for Plymouth today
Come on Gas - let’s put a few past Argyle and improve our goal difference. As he was at Exeter for so long Tisdale will be loving this!
Good first half good save from the GK to keep the 2 - 0 lead we are looking very lively Have to say a very good performance from our GK today
Brilliant result 3-0 v Argyle. JvS keeping a clean sheet was great and it sounded like an excellent performance in an entertaining game. City lost, FGR won and my son’s U-10 team finally won after eight attempts! A fine day’s football all round. UTG!
Our defence was non existent today and your keeper looked unbeatable. We got what we deserved in this one and no complaints from me. Mind you our defence is becoming absent every game and I think we will have a long hard season from here in unless Lowe does something about it. You on the other hand will maybe not trouble the promotions but I don't think you will struggle either with Tisdale in charge. Despite his history I have always thought he was a decent manager in the lower two leagues. Anyway best of luck from here on except with the return match...
