Who said he wasn't??Anyone still think he's not up to being a top Premier League manager?
Merson probably still thinks an Englishman would do better.
Is normal.Anyone still think he's not up to being a top Premier League manager?

The way he's got that richarlison to dive is top top coaching, suited to the PL. no doubt.
He got it wrong towards the end with us but initially he was good and I think you could see he had potential to do a decent jobThere were some on here who thought he'd failed with us and would take Watford down.
Must admit I hoped he would. There were some on here who thought he'd failed with us and would take Watford down.

It's an ideal job for him. He's at a club with a decent squad and has been backed financially. He doesn't like to stay around too long and Watford like to rotate managers every few years. Everton is a real possibility if Koeman last to the end of the season and its an underwhelming one.Wouldn't be surprised to see him in line for a top job in a season or two. Might need to step up from Watford to Everton or West Ham (who I don't see as bigger than Watford, but there seems to be a different perception of) before going up to a Top 6 job.
