Cant wait to see him score at the SOL in Black & White. You know it's bound to happen.
The boy who Shhhhhed the Gallowgate end? If he does I bet he doesn't celebrate.Cant wait to see him score at the SOL in Black & White. You know it's bound to happen.
They'll forgive that if they sign someone ..... even if it's a free![]()
He'll suit their style perfectly. Jack will pick up lose balls in midfield, then pass it back to the CB's who'll hoof it up field. Let's face it, Jack wouldn't be required to pass the ball forward playing their system![]()
Burn the heathen! He can pass???Burn the heathen!
No in all honesty, he will be a back up player for us. He is solid but nothing special (regardless of whether he signs or not).

Hes better than Anita lets be honest
Sissoko/Tiote will be in there first like

And HBA is ****

If they think he's going there they'll suddenly claim they always had respect for him and thought he was our best player by a mile
If it falls through they'll say he's ****e.
Making a permanent signing would have their heads spinning!
I believe he'll go there but think anyone who goes to work under Pardew has zero ambition.

Pucker up^This.
I'm not sure he will be coming to us as the source is the chronicle who have hardly been the most reliable lately when it comes to us. I wouldn't be surprised to see him still at your place next season.
I'd be pleased if we did sign him as I think he is a better squad player than we have had in Gosling and he will be more committed than the likes of Marveaux. Where we will run into difficulties would be if the board saw him as a replacement for Cabaye, which he clearly isn't. I'm hoping that we will still sign a good creative midfielder regardless of whether we sign Colback or not. Hoping, but not holding my breath.....

I think it's telling that I'm more gutted about the fact we're losing an academy product for nothing, rather than losing a class player.
On his day, he was great, generally though he was too conservative. If he is going to Newcastle to be a back-up player I'd be very disappointed
Personally, I don't think this is as bad as some people believe.
If we offered Colback a new deal at the start of last season under PDC, and he refused, what were our options?
Sell him, with a year left for what ....... £2/3 million? Then we'd have had to bring in someone else in for the same price on higher wages.
Or keep him, on low wages, for a vital season in which he played a part in keeping us up and thereby saving mebbe's £40 million?
I'd go for Plan B every time.
And stinks of piss and cheats at cardsHe's ginger, therefore has no soul.

Just saying that, with the number of players to come through the academy and be of decent quality, it's just a shame to lose one of the few for nothing
