That support was embarrassing, obviously i never watch them on the box so didn’t know what to expect from the “world class” Tonali and full backs, turns out they just looked ordinary and probably only Wolves have looked worse at the SoL
Whoa hang on mate. Wolves had some great attacking threat we had to dog in for periods.

Not biased but they as bad a side as we’ve seen here for sure. Even West Ham had a go at times.

TBF Wolves had fifteen minutes where they looked dangerous and capable of scoring.

Aye they definitely have good players on the ball, they have a false low points just confidence shot to bits.

They played really well again away to Arsenal and took a kick right in the teeth.

They having a season where gods aren’t with them but they didn’t look an awful side at all.

The Mags will love this from Howe ...

'We have a better team than them' - Newcastle 'sorry' for derby defeat

Living in Northumberland it was the lead story last night on the local bbc page.

It really spoilt my night. NOT!

They are that arrogant but the local media has a lot to answer for by constantly blowing sunshine up their backsides.

Looking forward to Dawnie telling us it wasn’t a victory tonight because of the own goal or they won the throw in count.

It is killing them and it’s fun to watch.

All this “We have a better team/better players than Sunderland!” Reminds me of a few years ago and a certain Steven Taylor saying “Sunderland don’t have a single player good enough to get in Newcastle's team! “ just before we beat them home and away :emoticon-0136-giggl

Ended his Mags career in relegation, just another Mag who has an inborn chip on his shoulder and they never seem to figure it out.

Might be The Sun but they are the fans who just keep giving and giving! <laugh>

Yeah. But seriously, all this gets forgotten about by the media after a few days. Their track record of bad behaviour and stuff like this is well known to us, but gets ignored by the media who blow smoke up their arses regularly. That's how the can ignore it and pretend it didn't happen.

No one can claim the Mags are entertainers playing thrilling silky smooth football …

… they’re attritional and aggressive with pace and height through the middle.

Sunderland weren’t great for the neutrals but played much more football than Newcastle on the day. I’ve honest believe we can repeat this performance at SJP.

We have big hearts right through that team with a cool calm head guiding them from the sidelines, not sure if anyone noticed at the match but when Hulme wiped Hall out with that crunching tackle he was straight to the sideline telling him to keep calm ! Pure class and not affected by the emotion of the game, unlike Eddie
