I said on the match thread that that is the stuff of nightmares, a giant gurning Steve Bruce head in the dark. Steven King has never come up with such horrors.

However, thinking about it in the daylight, it might be a bit like one of the giant heads on Easter Island. A curious, strangely shaped landmark. Can we not all club together to get one built and installed outside Sid James'?

Can Fulham catch them, given their own inconsistent form, before it gets to the last game? They could well be on equal points looking at their fixtures, but Fulham with a far better goal difference meaning they only need to draw with the Mags in that game..... it's gonna be tight.

Newcastle games: 4 points
Spurs H: draw
Burnley A: lose
Hammers H: lose
Liverpool A: lose
Arsenal H: lose
Leicester A: lose
Man City H: lose
Sheff Utd H: win

Fulham games: 6 points
Villa A: draw
Wolves H: win
Arsenal A: lose
Chelsea A: lose
Burnley H: draw
Saints A: draw
Man Utd A: lose

It’s been a truly wonderful week

It's set up an intriguing end to the season hasn't it.

We have our dream takeover while Newcastle would literally welcome a bunch of bigoted murderers much worse than 'Minimum wage Mike' just because of money to spend on players ...

... or 'investment for the NE' as they choose to pretend.

Is that still a possibility?

Do you think the Mags draw with Spurs as they are Spurs boogy team? I can only see them getting points against Sheffield Utd who will be playing without pressure.
