A leeds fan i work with said, there were rumours that we wanted Becchio but they wanted simpson and cairney in exchange.
Looks like Danny Graham is leaving in January after manager Laudrop tell SSN the news.
CMS looks like he will be going to Norwich reports suggest.
Micael Laudrup today told SSN that he would let Danny Graham go and may have to as Graham wants to play. The way he talked sounded to me like a deal is being done. But with whome ????

If there was ever a way to SHOW a player what it would be like to move from one club to the other today was it. If we really are in for Becchio he must have been drooling on the bench thinking of what it would be like to play striker for us.
We're a different prospect now. Last January we were both flirting with the playoffs but we had a wafer thin squad that was always likely to struggle in March. This season we're going for automatic and if you only allow players to be used once have 2 players for every position except left wing back (Rosie and Elmo being right sided, and Brady being our only left wing back with Dawson too slow, obviously Rosie is covering left and right).
I bet McCormack is pissed off though. Left Cardiff and chose not to join us so that he could play in the PL and joined Leeds.
He looked pissed off to me today, that challenge where he got booked was just a frustration challenge to me. In all honesty I'd be pissed off if I were him as well, signs a new contract in the summer and then doesn't play for ages and then when he does he is literally the only person on the pitch that looks like he wants to win a game
Very true. Becchio has the most talent of all the names we have been linked with. I just dont like his diving and cheating ways. Maybe SB can get that part of his game removed. But i dont think it will happen. Then again........

Indeed it is. But ONLY Becchio has the talent needed to play in the PL. imo.
I would probably be one of the very few leeds fans that would say this but I really don't think he does. Lambert and Holt have the ability to be strong when in possession of the ball and I personally think Lambert is class in so many ways and could always make the step up. Becchio however isn't a very good player to have in your team outside the penalty area, loses possession very easily. Saying that he is incredibly clinical inside the penalty area but requires the team to be set-up in his style, I highly doubt that he would be tolerated at any other club than Leeds
Trust me that's all we need him to do, finish the moves/crosses off with a shot on target. You just have to look at the game yesterday to see the chances we created and missed in the box. He won't have to touch the ball at all for long periods due to the fact that our midfield and wing backs never give it away.
