By some reports he turned down Middlesbrough too. He said in an interview recently how much he loves it at Leeds and would like to play here the rest of his career, and for once regarding a footballer I believe him. In 2010/11 while other players were dallying over contracts he signed a 3 1/2 year deal straight away. I think people often over-state this, he can sometimes go down easily but no more than your average foreign player (and many English players). He's a unique player in that when he's in the box he turns from an average workhorse to a class above possibly any other striker in the league. I don't think he's leaving, and if he is it would be to the PL, but any club would be very lucky to have him. please log in to view this image

You could be well correct on your last point. But as always TWT. Very true this ^^^^. We have enough quality outside of the box just need more inside it.
