Summed up my thoughts exactly from a supporter of 45 years standing. Two long distance season tickets not renewed. Will pick my away games selectively next year.

I started supporting the Tigers a couple of years before you and there have been far far worse times - and far far worse owners - than we have now.

So why did he not stop going when Lloyd, Bartlett or Chis Needler own the club they did far more damage to the club.

That's completely irrelevant. The fact is that, for the reasons given, the Allams actions have caused him to feel he has to turn his back on the club after decades of support.

Consider this - That he supported the club through the Lloyd / Bartlett / Needler / Fish eras and now feels he can't continue his support tells you all you need to know about the conduct of the Allam's and how it has alienated thousands of fans.

First of all its not thousands, so do you concider locking the gates to the ground as acceptable ?

Lo

Locking the gates united all Hull City fans and at the same time helped generate a great team spirit because of adversity. It was also one of the reasons Hull City Council wanted a home ground for City where the threat of expulsion was not an issue. Amazingly it did not result in fans of Hull City booing each other.

If the best thing you can come up with in support of Allam, is that he's not quite as big a **** as Lloyd, you should probably give up.

Personally, I find neither of their actions acceptable.

I wasn't actually trying to defend Allam just pointing out we've had fare worst owners so why did he decide to chuck going now !!

Some of the things fans did towards certain of the campaigners was worse than booing.

It's funny that anyone who dares to speak up in defense of the Allams is turned on by the people complaining about fans being turned on each other.

So he's decided the footy clubs not all that important to him, life goes on, no one died, why the hand wringing every ****ing time about it? Why do they need this attention? I really don't understand this obsession with people wanting their moment of fame on the internet. Within an hour, anyone who doesn't know him will have forgotten his name and won't give 2 ****s that he's gone.

He might have got some sympathy from me if it wasn't the usual bollocks about the spat with HCC being down to purely Assem, and ignoring the culpability and ineptitude of the council. Oh wait, you can't challenge that view, can you? Irony at it's finest.

If it's such a part of a person, then the current owner wouldn't make a bit of difference. You'd still go, it's still a football team you're meant to be passionate about. Unless these people deserted us in the past every time we had a **** owner?

Drama queens, really, that's what it boils down to.

no different to Allam really - he deserted his country and never went back - he's on the Board of the British Egyptian Society but we all know that's a load of ****e because he turned his back on his history and traditions

What do you mean by this? By campaigners are you talking about anti name change campaigners?

Genuine question, I have no interest in any petty back and forth, just want to know what you meant.

I mean precisely what I put.

It was mentioned that campaigns at fer ark didn't result in fans booing fans. I'm just pointing out some of the fan v fan things back then were worse than booing.
