Are you really sure we don't have a European trophy to our name ?![]()
You might do, but I never let facts get in the way of a good wum.
Er... not that I'm on the wum, these days, of course.

This thread is an utter embarrassment from start to finish!
On Gooners would have the sheer arrogance to proclaim themselves "London's most successful club" when they don't have a European trophy to their name!
I'd laugh, if only it wasn't so sad and so desperate.

Fair enough. You cant argue against eye witness accounts. It's never been proved so stop being so bitter,it's nearly 100 years ago for ****'s sake![]()
Cheeky bastardFair enough. You cant argue against eye witness accounts.

They're still posting on our boardWhat happened to the Wenger out brigade that was so vocal at the start of the season
No doubt they will be back again at the start of the new season

A domestic cup that your lowly club hasn't been able to win since 1991It makes me laugh that there is a debate currently raging in the media about whether or not Arsenal can "push on" next season and win the title!
For ****sake! All they did was beat lowly Villa in a domestic cup competition that none of the true powerhouses in Europe give a monkey's toss about! And suddenly blinkered Wenger (still laughingly referred to by Gooners as "Le Prof") is a world-beater!
You couldn't make it up!

All the big clubs including Everton,Liverpool,Man City,Man Utd,Chelsea,Portsmouth, and obviously ourselves have won the FA Cup since 1991Not just us, of course, but many teams who would be expected to do better in that competition.
Nonetheless, well done to Arsenal (even Jack Wiltshire). I genuinely look forward to seeing Arsenal lose to Chelsea in the charity shield at the start of next season.

Yes, even lowly Birmingham City won it not so long ago. I can't remember who they beat...

Yet again he's showing his lack of football knowledge. That's twice in his last few postsWrong cup bro

Yeah, hands up, I'm not too hot on my facts.

Likewise football was ruined in 1992. So anything since doesn't count. My point is, who gives a **** about football back then? It was barely the same sport. Maybe cut the North-East off and let it be independent so Newcastle and Sunderland can be the world's two baldest men fighting over its largest comb
At last a comment I can applaud you for![]()

That is if you want to play the game of picking arbitrary periods of time and completely write them off.
You are picking arbitrary periods of time. If they don't count why are they still in the record books?I'm not picking arbitrary periods of time and football wasn't ruined in 1992. Bizarre thing to say.
Pre-WWII trophies won just aren't given the same credence and certainly not those from before WWI. Maybe you celebrate the anniversary of Sunderland winning the league in the 1880s but I doubt anyone else does.

As for picking 1992, the year of the creation of the premier league, which you call bizarre, is no less bizarre than saying we only won those titles because the country was at war. Can yours be dismissed because of the war in Afghanistan?
