Going back to the gymnastics, I only caught the end of it on the highlights programme which didn't explain why we got bumped from Silver to Bronze. Can anyone explain it for me please?

I couldn't open the link as it's blocked by work, but just read up on it on the BBC. To my untrained eye it looked like the japanese gymnast fell off the pommel horse, but what do I know.
Its all to do with whether he landed or not. Initially he was judged not to have but he clearly did, he just lost the move in the dismount. The fact that literally everyone involved with UK gymnastics says it was the right decision tells you everything.
