Why US IPA?
This Boon Doggle by Ringwood Brewery is supposed to be a light fruity affair affectionately crafted to savour and satisfy. Best enjoyed with afew nuts... so cheers lads
U.S. IPA is completely different to English IPA
Not better, but totally different
Tastes very citrusy, almost grapefruit taste
I accept that might sound foul but it really isn't. Try it. Goose Island from Chicago nice or any of the the Flying Dog ones ( from Maryland)

This place has a bit of a selection on offer, its local to me and I keep planning to go there.

I like nearly all IPAs - English or American - particularly the citrussy style ones. Goose Island is very good. However it's a Monday Working Week night so sobriety for me.

On another note, am I the only one who is finding Glen Hoddle's commentary highly irritating?

It's hard to remember seeing a less intense football match than this.

Even the All-Priests five-a-side Over-75s Indoor Challenge was more urgent.

well england have a "perfect" qualification , sadly we looked boring and rudderless throughout (as usual)
The press will be jizzing over the Team and their Euro chances , but my god we are bloody boring and completely lacking in flair , excitement , tight control tenacity and even pace !!
we may bore the opposition to death in France and all our midfielders are clones . gaaaargh to piss on a "perfect" qually :/ soz

You are spot on - some people will be dancing around as if we've won a trophy when in reality all we have done is qualified from the easiest of groups. Yes you can only beat what's in front of you but once we face quality opposition - when it counts - we will be found wanting as usual. The last time we beat a major team at a major competition was Argentina in 2002. I will be pleasantly surprised if that changes at Euro 16.

Greece have won the Euros more time than we have & they were absolute ****e in the whole tournament!

I really don't think anyone is getting carried away. Everyone knows it was a crap group.

The four friendlies coming up could be tasty.

Apart from when we play Spain, Italy, France, Germany, - in fact anyone half decent :steam:

half decent? you've included 4 of the last 5 world cup winners and used "half decent"?

we drew with italy in march.

we beat spain the last time we played them.

we drew with brazil the last time we played them and beat them the time before that.

our record against germany since 2000 is three wins and four defeats.

We never do it when it counts - friendlies are meaningless and I am sure we will do okay in the upcoming 4 games but when it comes to the tournament I won't be holding my breath.
