This! Although I would add that I wouldn't be too upset if he'd gone this week, as I don't think things can get much worse.
I do worry that the "magic wand" of new January arrivals is being over-relied on!

Excellent summary Brix, well argued and delivered and exactly in tune with my own thoughts (although my doubts about NW go a bit deeper and have been voiced prior to our current slump). Just to add for the benefit of Ninj and others that they continue to mix up a reasonable questions and debate about our club on this kind of forum with a lack of support for the team when they play. The two things are NOT the same guys.

5:14 and ****ing Mexican dogs have woken me again! I think at times we all believe that NW is pulling the strings whereas once on the pitch this team flows or stalls without his influence
When we flow as a collective going forward then we are very impressive and with Taarabt and SWP look like a very dangerous side that could trouble any team. We have no teeth however and HH has been our only outlet

Midfield again at times we look solid and workman like with flashes of craft
Will be interesting to see Faurlin now grab the game as Barton stalls s and chokes us IMO SWP industry has always been good but end product?

Defence in general looks very poor in the centre and we have been cut open as well as looking poor on crosses

With teeth we should score more goals but those teeth can't be DJ Campbell as he is not good enough for premiership JB poses no threat to any defence in this league but he holds the ball up well ( I personally hate that football anyway as its ****e hitting it long and Barton tries this too much at times ... We play better going forward in a collective shape and have some tricky players that when we click will score a perfect goal I am sure
We look dangerous when we are behind and have to up our game but we don't attack enough IMO and need to stop sitting back when we get a lead
Mackie for me has the right stuff inside and let him grow

I see us clicking soon enough as we are far better than our position is
Have faith it's in the script . Wannock is no master tactician for sure but the he is a battler and 8 th position is easily possible as the league has sorted itself out exactly as I said it would 5 in trouble , the rest in limbo and the top seven . We have enough to win the limbo league ... Bad luck on any teams above us up to 8 th and they drop as we have.

Let's get a good cup run going and we must beat wolves and Wigan ... If we lose those games at home then DT stands corrected and we will be in a scrap for sure ... We must also perform at SJP

Next games are our season IMO

Thanks AAAAAGH. Just want to reinforce this point.

Debating the details of our performance and positioning, warts and all, does not mean we don't reset our 'hope-ometer' every match day. On the terraces (if there were terraces) we roar our unconditional support. In the pub afterwards, we reflect both positively and negatively and pick it all to bits in an attempt to work out what needs to be improved upon.

That's not only our nature as football fans, it's the way most blokes are. Ask the missus, she'll tell ya!!

You're going down with Warnock in charge, and he'll pin the blame on everyone else, just like he did when he was relegated last time. Crap manager with no tactics other than kick the opposition and hoof the ball. I have a soft spot for QPR, but if you keep this tosser I hope you go down, cos at the moment under him you're like a poor mans Stoke, and that says a lot.

If Warnock isn't the man for QPR, then who would come in and replace him?

If not premier league managers, i'm sure there are a few championship managers who are doing well who'd be tempted by the opportunity ninj

Younger blood, fresh enthusiasm and perhaps better knowledge on the modern game?

This debate will run and run. We could I guess for for allardcye - but I am happy for him to stay at west ham. Mowbray? plays a good passing game, appleton, Cotterill, (man I am struggling with names here), Olly (won't return), Pearson (just taken over at leicester and cannot see him leaving them just yet), Kenny Smoking Jacket.

there isn't that much available, I just reckon we should NW this season and regroup if needed next season. If we do go down, and mabe Bolton follow us, then I would say go for Owen Coyle but let's give NW a bit of time to at least put HIS team together

What about Eddie Howe at Burnley? Or Chris Powell at Charlton? mind neither would leave I would suspect. I agree that NW deserves a chance to put his team together, but we can't go toe to toe with Spurs for all our targets, as 10 out of 10 would choose them

Eddie Howe is a good shout. he had Bournemouth playing some very good footie - and if he hasn't settled up north he may want to reurn a bit further south. Chris Powell - this is his first proper season as a manager - would like to see how he does in next season or two.
also agree we can't go toe to toe with spurs on all transfer targets, but, what this could do is if we miss out on Samba for example, might make it easier to get Bassong? and if Howitt goes there, then they may have remove someone else from their 25 man squad (could it be Pav /Defeo??) which could mean that we can start to bid for a premier league striker. However if Blackburn are ater player plus for Samba and their bank are wanting a huge cash injection, I cannot see bassong going there purely because Spurs will value him at £3mill whereas if Samba came to Loftus Rd, Bradley Orr will be valued at £800k (ono)?
This will be a very interesting window

    Ruislip......er yeah!!!
Like all the other QPR fans on here, I have my opinions on what I would like to see happen - I know not everyone will agree with what I want but its still interesting to see how others view your opinions.....even if they don't agree.

Like that bloke at Chelsea? or the Blackburn manager? Hear they got a good result against that geriatric Ferguson recently.
Interesting how much people on here dislike Warnock. Its clear too that the knives have been out for while (if hidden till recently). Not really in the QPR mould? Too outspoken? Not enough experience of the premiership? Personally, I'm prepared to give him the whole season. Some have short memories - our managerial changes made us a laughing stock in the not so distant past. And who was the only one able to deal with the goons and get results? Oh yes, that'll be Warnock. If we go down, he'll retire. But there's no manager of month O'neill going to do better than him right now.

Its the realisation that things have not got better on the pitch despite the new signings. Players take time to gel I know but it will take a lot longer if there played out of position or in a system that doesnt suit them.

I'd love to Guus Hiddink come in, however unlikely that might seem.
