^^This...who do people really expect us to sign?!! Any club below 10th would be mental not to take Fellaini on loan for a season...experience, goals and can do the dirty stuff that most players whimp out of these days.

We would be mad not to take lescott if he is willing to move , anyone against care to give examples of were we can find better for cheaper ?
Maybe Williams or Dawson on wages.....but we'll have to pay £3m+ in a transfer fee for each...money down the pan if you consider their ages.
You think he's a talented footballer. I think he has always used his elbows more than his feet. Being included in the world cup does not necessarily mean you are fabulous. Look at some of the average players we have taken.
11 goals with his elbows? Granted he's a bit of an edgy dirty git but he's a big, strong and very talented attacking midfielder who offers a distinct goal threat and likes getting stuck in. Your World Cup argument is flimsy, Belgium have an incredible squad and he's been a focal part of their starting XI.

He's a good player and we'd be lucky to get him, which we wont. But to say you dont think he's any good is crazy.
There's being "linked" with someone (ie media bullshit) and actually making a firm offer, though. We're linked with 50 players for every one that we actually try seriously to sign (as appears to be the case with Lescott). The Owen one was always bullshit, and let's face it, Negredo was just Duffen talking out of his arse.

Not exactly loads. A few maybe. I suspect a few might agree with me. And why would I suddenly change my mind just cos a few people on here disagree with me. Seems like a lot of Everton fans were keen to be rid. Now Man Utd fans too. Are we all wrong and a few on here are right? Hhmm.
