Very good business indeed, if you're intention was to drive away your current centre halves into the transfer market. If so, why not get a 31 year old in on a free and pay them three times as much as the ones we have.

Pretty sure Davies is looking to negotiate a contract extension...Lescott's signing will only help him with that! I'm sure the Club don't want to sell our player of the season just as we enter Europe to fund another players wages...

The season before he went to Manyoo, Felliani was amazing and was Everton's standout player.

That's a crap example.

He'd be a ****ing great loan signing. Unwanted by Man U, lots to prove. Great man manager in Brucey. Bit nasty, which we need and weighs in with goals.

Maybe Davies is looking for a pay rise and contract extension but it would be easy for the club to Just say no. They may say you have two years left on the contract you have, come back next year, go out and show us what your worth. Same for Chester by the way. If Lescott (or similar) arrive on significantly more money than our current centre halves, then one or both are probably in their last season as Hull City players.

I know a couple of West Ham fans and they've both said he turned them down as he wants to stay in the north

Please tell me you are joking Jezza. Please?

I said squad, not team. I'd have Fellaini as well.

Lot of people seem to think that we're now an established premier league team and we should be attracting mid-table players. What we really should be doing is thickening our squad out with players around the same ability we have now or slightly better. We aren't the most attractive Prem team are we?

What have you and BFT been smoking? Fellani? Seriously? He's not even a footballer. Just an afro with elbows. Horrible player, even when at Everton. Overrated hugely. Nasty piece of work. No, not now, not ever. NO.

No, it's not that, I just think Downing is ****.

My opinion is you're wronger than wrong. 11 PL goals in 12/13 season from midfield, bossed SO many games for Everton and has been included in Belgium's very talented 23 man World Cup squad. The end.

The second bit wasn't about you but our fans in general. They think we should stay away from ex england internationals because they haven't played for a bit, players who have gone from mid-table and not quite cut it at top tier aren't good enough for us etc.

You could try being wronger, but you would fail.
