Does extending the stadium to accommodate @Geordieginola not count as special treatment?I'm not critical of fans giving tickets up mate, far from it. I'm critical of those who gave up and now demand special treatment.

No but it needs extending for me

I'd happily sit on a deck chair on top of the Gallowgate if they supply the ladders
And it's all muscle btw

I suppose collapsing the roof would be one way of getting the pigeon down![]()
That's given me a better idea. Meet me at Leazes Terrace in half an hour, bring some ladders

“Or we just leave it as it is and increase prices for everyone except Trevor.”Or we just leave it as it is and increase prices

Is what I think you meant to say.![]()

The damn renewal forms have just been received this week. Was hoping that might have been delayed for a mont or two and not followed Ashley’s trick of getting you to pay 5 years before the season starts.I just assumed you skipped paying for your season ticket anyways![]()

Email.Forms????? as in paper forms?????

While not impossible, getting around listings is very difficult. The relevant government departments would have to get involved including the Heritage side of things. The local planning department would have to be on board first and foremost too. These buildings are beautiful and in great nick too. I suppose in theory you could take them down brick by brick and rebuild elsewhere if money was no object. It seems highly unlikely but nothing is impossible in this regard. I work in construction and have seen the Secretary of State step in plenty of times to change listings, change of uses, all manner of things. I suppose the Saudis being so deep in with our government and potentially transforming the city means it’s foolish to get too hard and fast about what is possible.
Good grief. Some of you are seriously suggesting removing/demolishing/replacing the finest building in Newcastle's finest neighbourhood on account of trying to add a few thousand more seats to a stadium that can only ever be hemmed in?
Perhaps you'd consider paving over Grey Street while you're at it - you could park a thousand cars there for season ticket holders.
Plenty of room to build up before the listed buildings? If it blocks there sunlight I couldn’t give a chuff.Good grief.
