It’s problematic for the expansion of the stadium. They are very nice buildings and deemed one of the best structurally terraced in the whole of the uk.

Meaningless for development and I don’t or can’t find anything of historic event other than the actual building quality itself to deem it a grade 1 building.

Maybe the developer or designer is the connection.

I personally don't see enough money couldn't lead to their removal. Are they really that important? What do we lose that's that important?

Expanding Newcastle United and it's stadium and building the club seems far more valuable than holding only something of historical significance, unless that historical significance is so important that it shapes people's modern days views so importantly.

End of the day we don't need a 100k seater stadium. tart up the Gallowgate if at all possible and that's fine. I have no ****ing interest in a bunch of day trippers coming in who in turn make the atmosphere **** as they have no idea the words to the chants.

I absolutely agree. I think the council would consider it aswell. But Heritage England would just point blank say no.

And to them money is meaningless for the preservation for history. I did a bit of digging about this a while back and you can’t do much as change a thing that’s fixed in the place without planning consent.

Agreed. The possibility of an additional 8k is the only viable option on the site it currently sits on.

That’s where Ashley’s final V comes into play. Am I right in reading somewhere that the owners of the land went bust?

My view, which will go down like a lead balloon on here with some, is, tough ****.....It was blatantly obvious Ash was trying his hardest to get out of the club at the start of the season with the appointments he made legally. I have sympathy for those that couldn't afford it, but for those that were too ****ing dumb to see what was happening tough ****, quite frankly.

Re-join the waiting lists and wait your turn, for those making out they should be prioritised over current season ticket holders coz they forced the takeover by not renewing - just **** off and don't ever sing "We are the loyalist football supporters" bollox when you do get back.

As I said previously I have no problem with them selling as many ST as possible, leaving possibly 1,000 for general sale and whatever the away numbers need to be but bollox with this idea of an 80-100,000 seater to pack in day trippers.

Aye they are in liquidation. The major problem with the Gallowgate is re-routing the road as its a major artery road for the RVI

Yes the only way of doing it would be for the road to go under the stadium. Which is do-able.

Oh yer. Hmm the road stays where it currently is and the stadium built over it.

That’s an option 2 but I want the stadium bigger.

I can’t get to the game every week because of family so I need to be able to get tickets on the go.

That’s why my season ticket was dropped. So although I agree with your theory for the fans who gave up the tickets for the wrong reasons. I would be affected.

I'm not critical of fans giving tickets up mate, far from it. I'm critical of those who gave up and now demand special treatment.

Absolutely I agree. You pay your money and take your choice. Anyone who has given up knew the consequences.

I think they'll build over the road and make it for emergency vehicles only. Saves Amnesty dtiving their **** van up and down getting egged.
