I think Cameron will resign and soon. Maybe not this week but within a month. There won't be a GE. There is no way the tories are going to call a GE at this moment in time and risk their majority. especially while people are still bouyant. It would be absolutely stupid not to give people time to realise they don't need to vote UKIP now.

We haven't needed a giant supranational organization to lose all influence over our economy, heh. The direction of the US economy and the price of oil pretty much determines our fate for us...really brilliant long-term thinking to reorient toward resource production.

It's all about the tar sands. I mean, no one actually lives in Alberta, so what's a couple of earthquakes and massive wildfires?

Frack the **** out of it. Just maybe not right now when oil prices suck.

Ummm.., seriously? We are a bit ****ed right now. And because we are, you are too. Sorry about that.

I'm predicting 15-20% drop in the market by the end of the year.

That's the practical reason, there's also the question of what the point would be of Cameron leading the party into ANOTHER election.
Cameron wouldn't stand again if he called a new election I don't think, he has already said he wouldn't stand for a further term in 2020.

Tbh whatever people think of Cameron he needs to show balls of steel and come across as a strong leader, not someone melting under the weight of this referendum or his own party or pressure from labour. At least until some form of stability comes back to the markets.

Oh, it's not the fault of the US. We're the ones that decided that turning a highly-educated country into Cold Nigeria seemed like a great idea.

Very poor taste after Jo Cox's murder. The guy is a disgusting, rodent who is a plague on our society.

He is caught up in the moment and hasn't meant what you are saying poor choice of words but he is talking about fighting for independence and comparing it to other fights for independence i.e. civil war.

poor choice of words but I think sometimes people are looking for a reason to link his words to something.

No he isn't.

Though Chukka can't be taken too seriously because he didn't run for the leadership. He is a great talent, but didnt have the stomach for it.

I don't know anyone that likes Chukka and I am virtually a lone blue in this sea of red in working class Lincoln.

He can't keep using a poor choice of words. Every thing he says is basically offensive. I respect alot of Leave campaigners, but that guy is a horrid individual.

In 100 minutes, the pound lost 7.8% of its value.

To be fair though it lost that off of a price that had jumped up today expected a remain vote.

I was talking to a currency trader today who thought it was nonsense that the pound could lose 20-30% of its value... I find myself sitting here hoping he is right come tomorrow.

I guarantee he will win a seat at the next election he will be seen as a hero in some area with a high proportion of down and outers like Jaywick or somewhere like that.
