Being serious hope they sort it out it's getting so annoying now. It's got to stage were I have lost some respect for Le Tiss on how he has carried on. Maybe if he sorts it out or agrees to shut up I will have a bit more respect then I do atm.

Do you know first hand what has happened?, or are you hearing stuff and believing it's true?. Specially if you believe the stuff printed in the papers, if it's the 2nd part you have no right to call anyone idiots.
Was this the Sun Newspaper accusation where the 'accusation' was invented and the paper apologised for saying that Cortese had said it?

Cortese has a chip on his shoulder because of Matts credentials and has little interest in the clubs history.

Anyhow, the whole point of this thread is the GOOD news that the club and Le Tissier have arranged that meeting.....so hopefully they can iron out these differences and all start pulling in the same direction.

Have you noticed that there is one poster on this thread that has not once posted a single positive message about the Saints, why do you think that is? Like most of us I think if Matt Le Tiss and Nicola can get together on a level playing field and get to see eye to eye they could make a formidable pairing, lets hope it works out, neither owe the other anything, so I cannot see why there should be any stumbling blocks.

Wow.... I've been labelled an idiot.... It's like being at work.... And to be fair, with a post of such dubious quality, it makes it even more realistic.
I haven't delved too deeply into this as some others obviously have, just passing on observations from what I have seen over the years. I was under the impression that's what this forum was for, rather than general slagging off when someone doesn't agree.
As someone (beddy I think but could be wrong) the whole situation is very akin to two squabbling kids. I'm not 100% sure that even if they did kiss and make up, that FLT would be a good ambassador type for the club. He very much strikes me as the old school, whereas that couldn't be much different from what we have now.
I think at present, a public handshake would be good and would keep the divisive parts of the media at bay whilst we try and focus attention on the pitch and staying up.
For his part, I would suggest that FLT would be wise to get his son to reign it in a bit..... He has nothing to do with the club in any way, and must be a source of embarrassment to his dad. And on the other side, NC could sound a little less conceited when discussing it.
As for the accusation that people have got their tongues in certain parts of NC's anatomy.... The same could be said in reverse. Both men have saved this club in their way.... FLT through a divine combination of laziness and flair, and NC through vision and intelligence.
I also see no reason why NC hasn't got the minerals to make it as a chairmen... The opposite in fact. Although the sacking of AP and NA has left a bit of a bitter taste, the man is a hard nosed businessman..... It's nice to have a vision that we all could do better than any owner based on a few too many games of championship manager and banter with mates who always seem to know best. To quote a film, "this ain't a tickling competition!!" We are in the Premier League and are showing how it can be done. I personally like the idea that NC is a little left of field. When "mighty" Liverpool had the audacity to fax an offer to "lowly" Southampton for AoC and NC didn't even read it before he binned it... That shows that he's got the spuds to do it his way... That's fine by me!
