Back on track, Frampton just gets better..
And the 10cc documentary 'I'm Not In Love' is also well worth watching. When you realise the songs that the likes of Graham Gouldman has written over the years.
Another band with a Drummer/Singer was Paper Lace who had hits with Billy Don't Be A Hero, The Night Chicago Died, and others
I go back as far as the Dave Clark Five, he was a singer/ drummer.

Actually this was off the album ‘The Cars’, with ‘My Best Friends Girl’ being the other hit from that album. It wasn’t from Hearbeat City.IMO, the first was still the best. It sold me on them and that took some doing for a Yank band back then.........
I think this was probably their frst hit off that album.....................

R&W - you misunderstand mate, I didn't saw it was. I said their debut album "The Cars" was IMO the best and the Just What I Needed track was the first released as a single off that.
Both the Best Friend's Girl and Good times Roll tracks were also on that first album and were hits when released as singles..............vids of both below.
I think Heartbeat City was a much later album.
