The original Travelling Wilburys were Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Geoge Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty.Wasn’t that lineup (with Lynn) the Travelling Wilburys?

Phil Collins.What about drummer singer/songwriters?
Don Henley comes to mind (The Eagles) but there are others:
Myron Grombacher wrote most of Pat Benatars songs - and Lita Fords too - here’s a cheesy 90s John Mutt Lange produced rock track:

Actually this was off the album ‘The Cars’, with ‘My Best Friends Girl’ being the other hit from that album. It wasn’t from Hearbeat City.IMO, the first was still the best. It sold me on them and that took some doing for a Yank band back then.........
I think this was probably their frst hit off that album.....................

Great track though....

Great band. And Ric Ocasek and Ben Orr are sadly missed in the music industryR&W - you misunderstand mate, I didn't saw it was. I said their debut album "The Cars" was IMO the best and the Just What I Needed track was the first released as a single off that.
Both the Best Friend's Girl and Good times Roll tracks were also on that first album and were hits when released as singles..............vids of both below.
I think Heartbeat City was a much later album.
