Apologies to those who may have read it, but here is Holtmania's viewpoint on the Paul Lambert situation http://www.holtamania.com/2012/05/14/keep-calm-and-stop-worrying-about-lambert/
could a manager merry-go round this summer clubs looking for new managers - WBA Aston Villa Liverpool? Chelsea
Chelsea and Liverpool will go for an estabilished European manager in my opinion. Liverpool fans don''t expect any less, they didn't accept Hodgson.
Capello wants to manage in England again and avb would be good for a club as long as John Terry's not in it Lambert isn't the only option here. But my money's on Martinez. It wasn't the right time last time they came in for him. I believe this time it is the right time. He saved Wigan and can do no more than he has done.
Absolutely no idea but what I do know is that they have refused to sign a new contract at Brighton at West Brom have been sniffing around!
Paddy Power has Lambert as favourite! If i'm perfectly honest, i would put my money on martinez as Villa obviously wanted him last season.
i don't see why martinez would go there guru! he turned them down last year and villa are weaker and wigan are considerably stronger since then. his chairman is a diamond and they've both shown tremendous loyalty to each other. why give that up to go to a shambles? villa are far more likely to end up with someone like steve bruce or mick mccarthy
