Firstly, glad we are top, couldn't dream that at start of season... But sitting here watching players who seem nervous and lacking the passion. Expect more from Hammond, Morgan and guly was awful on the day. We miss chappers badly for his engine and heart on sleeve approach. On this performance we need a bit of new blood, let's look at our own youth setup before we go shopping...

Was just so bloody slow... Not just because of guly, reminded me of the last time we were in championship when we went down.... Waiting for runs that don't happen or hitting passes to noone. If we want to stay top, we need to think again...

Tbh you can't blame morgan he was played on the wing again. Second half he played so much better.

I thought we played quite well in the 2nd half, Guly not included. He was very poor today, should have got to the ball for their goal and did not do anything going forward apart from miss a good chance

Here we go - a point clear at the top, got through a game we could easily have lost, and people still moan.

What a sad and fickle bunch we are. I suspect even if we were 21 points clear people would still find a reason to complain.

I thought Hammond had a cracking game. Don't know what game you were watching but I saw 11 Saints players who (unlike Pompey) wanted to win the game. On another day we win that game comfortably. Classic post match over reaction.

We played crap, but then Pompey were much much worse... which makes letting them share the points all the worst as this was a really good chance not only to put them in their place, but just as importantly, get 3 points and open the gap again on West Ham.

All missed opportunities and I think even if Chaplow isn't fit, Adkins needs to change that midfield as its just too slow without pace on the flanks.

Well said.

Guly had a bad game, wow. Everyone does.

I saw 10 saints players wanting to win, Guly was beyond ****.

Jenny, no disrespect intended, but almost all you've done on here is moan at other Saints fans. So some people are moaning a bit, so what?

I'm glad we're still top, and will be going into the Christmas period top. History says that gives us every chance of going on to be promoted.

Been saying this for months, we have no pace at all on the wings.

well if you are what is classed as a "senior member" here, I am clearly in the wrong place. And if you think all I have done is moan at other saints fans I suggest you learn to read.

I am done here. I'll find another forum.

Portsmouth were awful. I thought we could of played for a month of Sunday's and they wouldn't score. I didn't take into consideration the fact one of our players didn't want to stick his head in for the cause though.

Waiting on the buses to leave Pompey. I think it was fair, but my god Guly was awful. We could have won, we could have lost, a point from a game we could have lost, top of the league.

If Guly really wanted to win the game, he would have at least gone in for the ball like he really meant it

Sorry, I shouldn't have a go at you - it's not personal - but I just get a tad pissed off at our fans moaning at each other (I can see the irony here of my statement). I guess feelings are running high.

And please, don't leave the forum.

Could easily have won too, we were 1-0 up.
