Same in the music industry, there are only a couple of decent agents 99% of them are ****s. Football must be even worse.I fecking hate footballers but i totally despise agents.

In the music industry do the record companies pay the agents fees that the musicians hire in the same way that the clubs pay the fees of the players agents?Same in the music industry, there are only a couple of decent agents 99% of them are ****s. Football must be even worse.
This ^He is on more in a week than most of us earn in a year and he signed up for a four year contract on that deal. Why should players be able to hold clubs to ransom and demand to double an already massive salary just because another club comes sniffing..These contracts are not worth the paper they are written on..

Should be an interesting Press Conference at 11am today then.We have to sell now, get as much for him as we can. Really gutted about this but a player like him could cause problems with the other players. As already said, no player is bigger than the club
Do u still want him then knowing how he actsThis ^
Even though it's potentially my club on the other end of this one, I agree 100%.
Lescott did exactly the same thing to us years back, and Moyes made the mistake of picking him for the opening game. He absolutely stank the place out, and the entire team was affected - we lost 1-6 at home to Arsenal.
These footballers are happy to sign long term contracts, but then their stock rises and they think they're automatically entitled to a huge pay increase or a move to somewhere they can attain their 'worth'.
There's very little loyalty in the game anymore, players don't really give a **** about the shirt they wear, as they have no emotional attachment to the club they represent. It's no wonder the working man is increasingly turning away from the PL.
The bosman rule has ****ed it up.
If the situation was that if a player ran their contract to the end then the club got a fee for selling the player on or fair compensation the power would be back with the clubs.
Under the current rules the club could say "you are not leaving" the player could sulk in the reserves for years and the clubs asset is effectively worth nothing.
WBA did it successfully with Berihino but now might not get much for him.
For us it's wise to sell Kone, he is a good player but Wickham had a great 6 month and has been hot and cold since. Same might happen with Kone. Was Henderson actually worth 24m when we sold him? Or Bent when we sold him? In hignsight we probably got maximum value from those players. This is probably the maximum value we will ever get from Kone.
It feels like we are back in the McCarthy eraAgree with all that, but if we sell we need to reinvest the money in quality. This morning I read we are looking at some lad from Blackburn and he's never played outside of the Championship FFS, i'm so disillusioned with the club right now. The lack of ambition is ****ing ****e.
