As an out and out CB he is superb mate, Everton is about his ceiling but he will be a great fit for them.

They've looked **** at the back since Distin left really and I think they're hoping this lad will be the new Distin.

For 20m hands should be getting snapped clean off. He's had 6 good months which have been defined by a few important goals. In 10 or so games the guy will be found out on set pieces, somebody like Zlatan would merk him and he'd be shook. He's been high on confidence, just like Samba was, ultimately he was a big lump obsessed with money.

I really thought Samba was the real deal when he was at Blackburn.
A proper class centre half.
Look what happened to him.

Exactly mate and you're not alone either I'm sure very few of us would say we thought he was ****.

Once money and agents are in their heads then they become different players completely.

Adnan Januzaj for example.

His company might be broke but I'm pretty sure he has a fair wad stashed away in an offshore location. :emoticon-0103-cool:
I had a few Nokia's and they were bloody good phones, great signal & call quality and the battery lasts a week on full charge.

Aye I used to have Nokia's too, in some ways I preferred them to modern phones. Couldn't go back now like although if you only needed one as an actual phone for calls and texts they'd still be better than touchscreen. For example I put my iPhone on speaker phone the other day by mistake with my ear and could I buggery change it back.

Our clubs **** end of story can't sign players can't keep players let players go on the cheap I'm ready for giving it all up why should I/us as fans give our hard earned cash to a club that seemingly doesn't give a **** about us. Massive crowds at home amazing away support and for what so that Yankee twat can rake it in whilst laughing at us. Sorry for the rant I'm so ****ed off at the minute with the club as a whole
That Yankee twat who has put millions into our club and not taken a penny out...We would be up the creek without a paddle without him.. PS.. We are currently on our longest run of top flight football since the 1950's..

This is all very one-sided isn`t it? As usual not a murmer from the club.

We don`t know what his current deal is.
We don`t know what his new demands are.
We don`t know who promised him what and the circumstances under which that would come into effect.

For all we know it may have been a verbal agreement between Sam, the player and his agent and this the first the club have heard of it.

Whatever the background it`s gone sour and I don`t see how him staying is a viable option.now.

Tag £20m on top of what we paid for him (whatever that was) and tell the big boys to come and get him. See who turns up then give the money to Moyes to put to good use.

iirc there was some off/on carry on when we signed him so maybe this is his party trick. For me he can **** off now and the club have nothing more to do with him or his agent.
I'd keep him till the end of the window personally. I think we've replaced him already from what I've read about Djilobodji. Make him sweat with the way he's treated us fans. If he loved it so much, the money wouldn't matter the way he's now made it out. Do little with him in training and let him have to get himself back to match fitness before he's an asset to anyone else

I wouldn`t.

Not interested in whose to blame but it`s poison now. Get rid asap for top whack while there`s time to put it to good use would be my choice.

Good point mate

My heart sank when I read his statement this morning. He's burned his bridges with the club and from what I'm reading online, the majority of the fans too.

The club is left with only one sensible option now and that is to sell him to the highest bidder.

The lad has clearly forgotten the unbelievable atmosphere that the fans created at the SOL during the Chelsea and Everton matches last season. He'll probably never experience that again during his career, so I hope he one day realises that it's not all about the money and then goes into a deep deep depression for the next 20 years.....

The disloyal arsehole!

I agree with all of that. I think, like Bob Murray, he's hit his height and is unable to take the club on to where we now want to go. Maybe he should look to sell on and step aside so the next guy can spend the sort of money that everybody else in the league is spending. We are being dwarfed by clubs like Bournemouth, and that should never ever happen.
