I do just think we're a left back and central midfield playmaker away from being top 4 challenger every year with klopp.

If if we could clone a left footed clyne and find a Cm who can just control the game (maybe can or grujic will grow into that role) then we've a very good squad full of players that do a job. No huge superstars, but young hungry players

I would still add another quality CB to that list.

Not at all unhappy, I would have had Klopp at OT without a second thought 18 months ago, and would take him after Jose if Ancelotti wasn't available. I am just pointing out that he is no different than most other "modern" managers, when things are good and going his way all is fine, when things get tough they "need a rest".
Can you imagine Fergie, Shankly , Paisley, Wenger even managers like Hodgeson or Allardyce coming out with something like that?
It's all about image/CV now and it's all a bit sad really.

Utter bollocks. Klopp does not fall into the former category.

In ideal world everyone could be improved on, but I think those are 2 key areas that need strengthening first. I think Matip has looked very good, Lovren has been solid since Klopp came in. Still prone to odd error but looks more like the defender we thought we were buying, and there are no real stand out CB's in the league ATM. Klavan has looked more than solid deputy and if we get big unity issues, Lucas can do a job and we still have Sakho for time being.

Hahahahaha, red squirrels ???!!! More likely to see a unicorn or a sasquatch round here. Loads of grey ones though and they eat anything and everything, all the bird feeds, including the feeders, any rubbish and scraps that gets dropped, the grass when they're digging for nuts, I think there is a problem with their numbers but not sure culling is the answer, i guess if they're causing problems for other species you have to manage it, the grey squirrel was the death of the red squirrel in most parts of the uk

Good few at Formby <ok>

As of now we've enough to get top 4 once.. if we maintain form over a year.

add europe to this and the dynamic changes. Klopp knows this and knows he needs more than what he has when that comes about. There's no 2/3 gimmies in a row like there is in germany for dortmund. you have to be a t 100% every game twice a week for most of the season so... well year add those two and the team might be a bit better but he will have to add 5/6 more when the time comes.

1. CB eyesore that is sakho/lucas
2. LB as you said but x 2 probably
3. CM. we have 4 right now with henderson, can, lallana, wijnaldum for 3 slots. Add one as commented but prob need better than stewart or lucas who can't really run for 90...
4. look again up top. Firmino, coutinho, mane, sturridge, origi.. not to bad really. probably want one more here. i think lallana COULD but i'd rather another mane if we could find one.

then talk about actually replacing a lovern or klavan or whatever...

I think klopp will be looking at this with respect to adding games in europe tothe mix and building a squad capable of playing both.

After all.... look what happened to utd leicester thus far. the last thing we want is europe starts and we have the usual... oh its November LFC are already 10 points off and playing catch up.

I posted the history of LFC for last 4 years. every november we are in europe we are miles off the top.

Not that I'm aware of. Certainly not like in the UK.
is there no greys in germany?

Greys artificially introduced to UK... They used to all be red. Very invasive species, they dominate almost every habitat they encounter.

They tend to typify Bergmann's rule (bigger in colder climates). It's kinda freaky going up North and seeing really huge grey squirrels but when I come back south to warmer climates they're much smaller.

Northern squirrels look like monsters when you're used to subtropical populations.
