To summarize Cosi's post.
Put the cucumbers down gents and step away from the salad bar.

Neither driver was innocent, but Karthikeyan correctly identified the source of the problem: front runners demanding the moon on a stick from drivers in cars that struggle to take corners on a clean, well rubbered racing line, let alone marbles or grass.
The fact is that Vettel was never going to catch the top three, or lose fourth place, as a result of how cautious he was in overtaking Karthikeyan. He had mirrors and a visor, which were enough to reassure him of that even if the radio was faulty. For that reason he only has himself to blame for the damage it did to his race.
Sorry, thats utter bullox. Vettel didnt do anything wrong on track. The pictures and videos speak a clear language, 100% fault of Karthikeyan. Johnny Herbert and the other stewards agreed obviously.

This is weird! You could remove the word Vettel, replace it with Hamilton and it would be like so many of the conversations from last season, just with the odd opinion shakeup.
Who changed the matrix??? Am I still on Earth??? Did Lord Lucan ride in to town on Shergar?
Funnily enough, this discussion is still going on..
Why do people care so much of whose fault it was? After all, we would't have had this debate if Vettel didn't stick his middle finger in the air or make those idiot/cucumber remarks about Karthikeyan, such minor was the 'accident'. I find it being a hugely improper behaviour from such a public figure and world class racer. I can understand that you can slip and do/say things like that in the heat of the moment. We are only human after all. But it has been several days now and as far as I know, no apology has been made.
I agree that the championship isn't minor. The result of this incident can in fact show to be crucial come the end of the season. It isn't out of the question that Vettel could lose the title by less than 12 points. A world championship isn't minor. It's strange how people find Vettel's playground antics of more importance than a formula one world championship.
