As far as I can see and from what Parliamentary dispatches I pick up on, and whilst the Tories pick yet another new leader, the only ones even trying to hold Mr Flip Flop and the Stasi to account for the sh*t show that’s unfolding are Nigel Farage and Reform

not exactly true except both been in power for similar time
Labour had masses of oil/gas revenue not had before, now its a lot less ! sold our gold ... bank crisis was nowhere near the problems of Covid and energy crisis and having spent all the money cash reserves gold didnt have a inkling on how to do anything without massive borrowing .. our interest rate on loans is determined by the "state of economy affairs" ours in 2009 was pitiful

Tories had massive debt to recover from [ you keep blanking that from your assessments/ opinion! ] had to do AUSTERITY as no other choice due to the depth of debt ... got through 2 major bigger than anything before crisis ...... and as the BOE stated soon after 4th July country in a good position to go forward with economy lower to come inflation and lower to come interest rates so actually Tories were picking up a head of steam but the constant negative media was detrimental to the whole situation.

finance is not simply just about banks and people going [ well they used to ] paying in or taking out if everyone in the world decided they wanted their money out there wouldnt be enough to go round!
not saying it wasnt serious but at the time all being in the boat at the same time helped! Bankrupt was the terminology! but that is result of individual co's not doing things properly trading without thought!

to end September [ during the stormy weather of the last week just 79 ] the grand total since July 4th is 11,616 added to our shores ...again repeat, known number other boats may drop off and land "undetected"

so weekly cost of those are around £8,200,000 annually circa £423,000,000 for the cost of this years £918,000,000 or there about a £trillion pounds of the budget gone. then think this does not cover those still here from before Jan 1st 2024 and those getting benefit from arrival previous years add in extra staff to cope must be approaching ? £2,000,000,000,000 enough to pay heating allowance for a couple or more years !???

The prime minister is covering the cost of six Taylor Swift tickets, four tickets to the races and a clothing rental agreement with a high-end designer favoured by his wife, Lady Starmer.
It comes after Sir Keir and other cabinet ministers have faced weeks of criticism for accepting freebies from wealthy donors.
The prime minister said it was "right" for him to repay the cost of some gifts.

    How do you plead?
Guilty M'LORD of being greedy and being found out and having hypocritical stances on a loy of other things, but I plead for clemency, I am not blaming me I am blaming the system. It is never me or the party always someone else.

I would merely say if it’s right he repaid it, equally it’s wrong that he accepted it. There are much more important things to be dealing with, and to judge him on, but it isn’t a good look, he needs to tighten up as it doesn’t reflect well on him or the party.

If it was just £6k the liar had taken I might agree but what about the other £100k plus he took and the bunch of grifters around have also received, just a bunch of hypocrites.
Sir Keir Starmer declares gifts and freebies totalling more than £100,000 - the highest of any MP
Sky News' Westminster Accounts project reveals the prime minister has declared more gifts and freebies than any other MP, with his total in gifts, benefits, and hospitality topping £100,000 since December 2019.

They know the risks yet are so desperate they are still prepared to take them, with young children as well, ( I thought you keep saying they were all young males by the way), that’s one of the reasons I don’t think the Rwanda “deterrent” will work sufficiently to be of use, these people are just so desperate.

The 2 year old child that died was apparently trampled to death in a dinghy
His Mother is Somalian and he was born in Germany
So what are they doing in a dinghy with 70-90 others trying to cross the English Channel having surely travelled through very many safe countries on the way to the child’s death ?
    Beyond tragic

well the remains of that boat " had 90 in it? " was probably part of the 17 boats that arrived yesterday with another 973 to burden the tax payer YC HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR as does KAMIKAZE with no plan and cancelling the Rwanda deal...

973 is another £683.000 per week and means since July 4th 2024 LABOUR .GOV has seen £9,100,000+ FROM THIS WEEK ON being paid out just for the ones arriving in the past 3 month's it is now 50% of all "known" boat arrivals! thats costing £20,00,000 a week without peripheral costs

imagine what we could do with £1,820,000,000 instead of supplying BB pocket money clothing phones to people who could afford the like charge of £4, 000 to get here!

with the frighteners on from dictator "KAMIKAZE 2TIER FREELOADER" who will take to the streets and protest....... OK if Palestinian backers [ the war there is wrong but we dont see the same for that one in UKR ]

    oh dear Keir

Keir Starmer was plunged into a fresh political crisis after his chief of staff resigned following a
power battle at the heart of Government.
Former civil servant Sue Gray said the "commentary" about her position had become a "distraction".
But Tory leadership candidate Robert Jenrick said it "feels as if she's fleeing a sinking ship".
Ms Gray was on Sunday replaced by Sir Keir's chief strategist, Morgan McSweeney, who is said to have
repeatedly clashed with Ms Gray since Labour took power less than 100 days ago.

Mr Jenrick told the Daily Express: "Labour's government is in chaos. Internally, it is ridden with scandal.
"Starmer has lost or been forced to kick out seven rebellious MPs. Number 10 has been beset by briefings and petty squabble
over who sits where and who controls the Prime Minister's diary.
His special advisors are in open revolt over who gets paid what while Sue Gray banked more than the Prime Minister.

Her resignation was no surprise. After months of infighting and a series of terrible decisions for the people of Britain,
it feels as if she's fleeing a sinking ship. The former civil servant's £170,000 salary was leaked after she told other advisers to take a pay cut to serve in Government.
"Starmer has no national security advisor. He's had to replace his private secretary.
And the Cabinet Secretary - the country's most senior civil servant - is rushing out the door. This is free-fall."
