I still find it hard to believe that a few posters wanted Gooch in ahead of him. I’m glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves. One of the best players in the league.
Jones looked match fit to me on that club video yesterday. He will be a massive player for us these last ten games. He is playing below his ability at this level
I am done with Gooch like. I just do not rate him at all. He has been a massive disappointment this season. If we went up he would need replaced. Hopefully with Jones

He won us our first cup in decades.
Every time Johnson plays him he'll get my full support.

It’s always gone on hasn’t it. Earliest I can remember was Dichio, then Richardson, Kenwyne, Sessegnon, O’Shea (maybe allow that one...)
Always one one getting pelters. Usually you can tell folk who haven’t been/seen the match as they target the wrong ones and then folk coat-tail that and it spirals.
As was pointed out to me recently everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it does not align with your own thoughts , my thoughts are strength in numbers . The more good players we have in our squad and therefore at LJ s disposal the better .
I appreciate people like Gooch. Its fair enough. But he has offered very little this season on the regular and Jones is simply better
