Dawson is too slow now and needs to foul players when trying to keep up with them, plus he's out of position frequently. It seems that NP wants a solid central defensive unit flanked by two pacy full backs. Sounds good in my book. Dawson has been a great servant to the club but I think he should only be played when absolutely necessary i.e. injury, suspension, league cup. That's only my opinion though.

We obviously won't know who will be Nigel's first choice until the season starts, it's just my opinion that based on what's happened with the other Man United lads, that he'll walk straight into the starting XI. I still think we'll bring someone else in who can play left wing.

Agreed, although I'd be curious to see how Koren does given a run on the left, with a proper midfield supporting him.

Simple answer no. Dawson's distribution is some what questionable at times, he seems to still have the "Taylor" mentality of hoofing the ball as far down the left as he possibly can when he could simply play the ball along the back four. Apart from that his first touch can get him into some sticky situations as well, personally I can't seem him staying past next season even though he has being such a loyal servant to the club.
