... if the Ings and Shinji Okazaki rumours are to be believed then signing Defoe looks less and less likely ,,, may be his wage demands are just too out of kilter with the rest of the squad ..
I would still take Defoe but with Kramaric signing I wouldnt break the bank for him now Ulloa and Kramaric will start with Vardy coming on for the last 20 as an impact sub I just hope Kramaric does well because their a lot of pressure on him. Im sure it will help him that he is playing with a striker who cost nearly the same
The MLS have released the player earnings table for 2014 and Defoe was 4th on £100,630.00 a week, we won't go anywhere near that sort of money. Kramaric looks a handy signing.
We couldnt afford those type of wages either. Even half of that either Yep we are all excited about Kramaric. A resl coup for us. Just hope the work permit can be sorted now
We could afford them it's just a case of whether we was prepared to I wouldn't break the bank for him now as if Kramaric and Ulloa click then we won't need him. Vardy and Nugent will be impact subs and Wood hopefully just gets loaned out for now and we look at his situation again in the summer once we know where we are next year
No the owners won't pay wages like that for a 32 yr old with no resale value and quite right too. Would be happy if we get Okasaki
I would not like him! He would only be here for a last meal ticket, and would be out injured more times than what he would play
Apparently off to Sunderland, and if the rumours of £70k per week are true, then I'm glad... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/T...ermain-Defoe/story-25853526-detail/story.html
Over the moon if this deal goes through as expected. Not fussed about the money, it's not mine being spent. We were looking 50/50 for relegation, signing Defoe should make sure we definitely have enough now to steer clear of the drop.
I wouldn´t either, money grabbing git. LCFC don´t need him we have enough options up front time for a DEF or 2 (imo) .
Christ! thats alot for a 32 year old, especially one that prob wont be upto the pace of the prem after basically retiring from it by moving to an easy money league.
Not a glowing reference, http://www.theglobeandmail.com/spor...n-defoe-to-sunderland-source/article22440614/ He might do well for Sunderland, but I'm certain he would be injured or **** for QPR .
