But we don't know the lies he was told geezer, but your right, it boils my blood and breaks my heart all at the same time.

The only way I can see the owners is as an insolvency business because, in my mind, that's exactly how they are acting.

They're administrating us all the way to receivership while protecting the interests of our creditors, the only creditor in the process, the consortium, which also happen to be the same insolvency administrators.

They will sell off every asset we have piecemeal in order to satisfy the 'creditor', the job of an insolvency administrator. They will only be satisfied when there is nothing left but the bare bones of a bleached carcass of a club that used to run in the fields of the premier league.

Being a fan of Swansea City AFC is not just about supporting the team, history tells us its a lot more than that, it's about saving the club too. I have a feeling that history is about to repeat itself.

The only recourse we have as fans is demonstration and we should demonstrate our anger and distaste at the Asset strippers in a way that will hurt them the most.

I read in a post on a website somewhere that ended with the cry: EMPTY THE LIBERTY FOR JUSTICE

Can't remember where but the sentiments are spot on imo, hit them in the pocket, don't let them put their grubby hands in our pockets neither, don't give them a single penny more. Boycott home games, merchandise etc, Boycott the Liberty, go to away matches in our droves and be louder and prouder there as we've ever been before.

Empty the Liberty for Justice, I like the sound of that, we could make it part of the clubs constitution.

Love it!!!!!...............................<applause><applause><applause>

Exactly what i have been preaching for the past 2 years......Thank you Huw for all what you have done and confirming i was right all along.<ok>

"I'm really glad that we finally got relegated so we could regroup and start the transformation of getting these high earners of the books and put the club on a stable footing again.....These Americans know exactly what they are doing and Huw is a part of that....It will take time and it wont be easy but these yanks and Huw wont be going anywhere and are here for the long haul andwe should be grateful to them instead of slagging them off......I dont care if we ever get back to the premiership again but if we do then we will have players who want to play for the swans at a fair wage and not mercenaries who just want the money"-Dai..........................................<laugh>

Ahem

Here we go..Fans making things up again that they know nothing about.....Jenkins was getting the blame for everything even when i told you That Jenkins was nothing more than a figure head and spokesman for the club, He has a small number of shares that gives him a vote and that is all.....To say that Jenkins was responsible for the james saga is totally Bollox as he dont have that power anymore and have not for a few seasons. The deal fell through at the last minute because Leeds never put on the table the deal the Swans were after, So the deal never went through.....There was nothing sinister about it and no individual shareholder could have stopped the deal except the owners who decided the deal was not good enough..

Now about the Trust that poor deluded trust who say they have power.....Err excuse me, Since when ? I was with the trust when it was formed and i gave more than my share i can tell you, But power is a joke as all they have is a representative who can sit on the board but have no vote ..Whenever the board as a meeting that requires a vote then they dont have to tell the trust about the meeting Just like when the Morgans were the owners they had numerous meetings omitting the trust. They did not even tell them about selling the club for 6 months until it was done and dusted........I would love to see the trust with some sort of power and a vote but that will never happen because at the end of the day the trust is nothing more than a bunch of ordinary fans and fans cant vote or make decisions....

“ That is the trouble with some fans they think we have to sell our best players.......NO we dont at all, A club with ambition and want to win anything and be feared by other clubs do not sell all their best players they add better players. You know you are going down hill when you spend Fcuk all and end up in profit when the transfer window closes and the chairman says "We have had a good window" .Totally Bonkers to see a club work so hard to get where we are only to have new owners follow on from the Morgans in running the club down and most certainly dont care if we get relegated... And we fans just put up with it and let this happen and make any excuse we can think of to justify the clubsactions.......Only relegation will some see how dumb they have been and it will be too late...”

Those of us who truly love our club, will have no problem, in an organised boycott of a number of targeted games, in a sustained policy of decent against these Spiv Yankee owners, we are a close knit community, and it should not be difficult to co-ordinate and target specific games, it will have no adverse effect whatsoever on the players and Manager, as they will be fully informed and understand what to expect.

We really do need to become active and not passive, if we are to send the right message, and save our club, please get on board Jack Army.

As it seems likely that Jenkins pulled the plug on the James transfer after the owners had pushed for it, is it also likely that the absence of new signings and the constant delay in signing key players to new contracts also emanated from the US and not SA1. Jenkins is responsible for a lot, but I suspect that the owners have made most of the financial calls over the past couple of years. Ironically for him, Jenkins is now being set up as the fall guy. Whoever they appoint next will not have the club or its heritage at heart; at best, an instruction follower.

Will someone pass me the tissues?

The cost cutting exercise being refereed to can be called something else, dividend maximization, a cost 'cut' reduces expenditure and again increases dividends. Costs aren't being cut because they are necessary to save the club, they are being cut to increase dividend returns and so the amount of money being extracted or bled from the club.

Honest question.
If dividends are paid, shareholders will be treated equally. If the trust hold 20% of the shares, they would get 20% of dividends. Is the trust reporting dividend income?
Or is there a structure in place with 'B' shares that don't attract dividends which are held by the trust?
Just interested in how the Yanks get the money out without other shareholders benefiting.

No dividend has been paid for the past 3 years
