"I'm really glad that we finally got relegated so we could regroup and start the transformation of getting these high earners of the books and put the club on a stable footing again.....These Americans know exactly what they are doing and Huw is a part of that....It will take time and it wont be easy but these yanks and Huw wont be going anywhere and are here for the long haul andwe should be grateful to them instead of slagging them off......I dont care if we ever get back to the premiership again but if we do then we will have players who want to play for the swans at a fair wage and not mercenaries who just want the money"-Dai.......................................... Here we go..Fans making things up again that they know nothing about.....Jenkins was getting the blame for everything even when i told you That Jenkins was nothing more than a figure head and spokesman for the club, He has a small number of shares that gives him a vote and that is all.....To say that Jenkins was responsible for the james saga is totally Bollox as he dont have that power anymore and have not for a few seasons. The deal fell through at the last minute because Leeds never put on the table the deal the Swans were after, So the deal never went through.....There was nothing sinister about it and no individual shareholder could have stopped the deal except the owners who decided the deal was not good enough.. Now about the Trust that poor deluded trust who say they have power.....Err excuse me, Since when ? I was with the trust when it was formed and i gave more than my share i can tell you, But power is a joke as all they have is a representative who can sit on the board but have no vote ..Whenever the board as a meeting that requires a vote then they dont have to tell the trust about the meeting Just like when the Morgans were the owners they had numerous meetings omitting the trust. They did not even tell them about selling the club for 6 months until it was done and dusted........I would love to see the trust with some sort of power and a vote but that will never happen because at the end of the day the trust is nothing more than a bunch of ordinary fans and fans cant vote or make decisions....
“ That is the trouble with some fans they think we have to sell our best players.......NO we dont at all, A club with ambition and want to win anything and be feared by other clubs do not sell all their best players they add better players. You know you are going down hill when you spend Fcuk all and end up in profit when the transfer window closes and the chairman says "We have had a good window" .Totally Bonkers to see a club work so hard to get where we are only to have new owners follow on from the Morgans in running the club down and most certainly dont care if we get relegated... And we fans just put up with it and let this happen and make any excuse we can think of to justify the clubsactions.......Only relegation will some see how dumb they have been and it will be too late...” Sep 12, 2017 No prizes for guessing the author
Those of us who truly love our club, will have no problem, in an organised boycott of a number of targeted games, in a sustained policy of decent against these Spiv Yankee owners, we are a close knit community, and it should not be difficult to co-ordinate and target specific games, it will have no adverse effect whatsoever on the players and Manager, as they will be fully informed and understand what to expect. We really do need to become active and not passive, if we are to send the right message, and save our club, please get on board Jack Army.
Honest question. If dividends are paid, shareholders will be treated equally. If the trust hold 20% of the shares, they would get 20% of dividends. Is the trust reporting dividend income? Or is there a structure in place with 'B' shares that don't attract dividends which are held by the trust? Just interested in how the Yanks get the money out without other shareholders benefiting.
