I don't quite get it. We offered £15m for Jorgensen. We must have around £20m or more somewhere? Yet we couldn't find anyone better than Joselu. Boggles the mind.
We hadn't had any EPL money in back in the summer. We didn't have a pot top piss in and Mike and Justin were keeping the club lean ready for sale. How high up Rafa's list of striker targets do you think Joselu was? Not very is my guess.

Also, we have looked at players who have ultimately rejected us and joined direct relegation rivals:

Ndiaye - Rejected us for Stoke
Sturridge - Rejected us for West Brom
Mangala - Rejected us for Everton

So there is something very wrong. I mean, that is almost a redundant statement, it's so obvious, and has been since Ashley signed Keegan,

Pep Guardiola: "Mahrez is a Leicester player. I don’t talk about it too much. The transfer window is over so the guys who are here will finish the season."

Poor bloke. I really feel for Pep having to put up with the guys who are there.

JPF - I think word has gotten around about the club. I think Rafa is purely there for the takeover (and the salary). If it doesn't happen, or wasn't happening, he'd be off no doubt.

I think agents point to the lack of investment everywhere as a reason not to join. Other teams are also paying more in salary. We're just not a modern football club.

We're so ****ing tight...

For me, Ashley lost his enthusiasm the same time he stopped providing a budget for young players. Iva Toney was the last young player we bought... I bet he'll never play for the senior team in a proper match.

I suspect it's why players don't want to come. No development, outdated training, no money, low salaries. It's a dead mess. It will end eventually. We're well equipped for relegation, we pretty much plan for it. So if we stay up, Ashley should go this season. If we go down, we should have enough to come up and sell. So at worst 18 months of this **** left. In theory....
