That's fine. We have another goalie.

Personally I thought Ruiter had raised his game but I could be shouted down about that.

We need strikers though.

STRIKERS!!

STRIKERS!!!!!!!

Aye he has raised it. It is getting desperate up top though. Surely there must be someone somewhere avaible

Just read that the swap deal for the Leeds keeper involves McGeady.

Not sure what I think about this, but it must be the reason why we signed Lua Lua last night as a possible replacement?
So be it
We need a new keeper

Don't get me wrong McGeady is great to watch at times and I don't have a problem with him but he is inconsistent and I don't think he's the type of player that Coleman is looking for.

In a settled and strong side he'd be an asset, in our side not so much. I'd prioritise a good goalie over keeping McGeady personally.

Me too

It makes sense looking at it that way. McGeady (and Macca) have not commanded a starting place of late, so they are not exactly irreplaceable. There's still time of course for a change or two, even though more games for the team that played against Hull City is not unthinkable. The squad still looks dangerously fragile and needs to be strengthened further, and perhaps a classy loan deal or two to add more strength in depth to the spine of the team will see us prevail.

Wingers don't have a place in the 5 at the back we play. Makes our new signing a puzzle to me as we've got McGeady and Maca who don't have a place in this system as it is.

I'm thinking that Lualua has probably been brought in as a forward rather than a winger. I wonder what he's like in the middle of the park?

Bad crack when we're forced to bring in players to play them out of position cause we can't get a natural for said position.

That's true, can't figure it out either, unless Coleman has another plan up his sleeve, I was wondering the other day if we lost JoS to injury, how would we keep our shape, perhaps three at the back is not the only way forward, who knows we will have to wait and see.

If we need a winger we could play Galloway there.
He’s poor at defending (LB) but very good going forward.

I think he's ****ing gash.

Completely different things being good going forward as a left back and being a good winger - same reason PVA still, in my eyes will never make a good winger.
