Chris Martin
I liked his first single but I've never been a fan.
Chris Martin
I trust Coleman to be able to convince players to come. If the player is not up for it, so be it. I like Coleman.
How way man keep upWho?
Aye, he's one of those managers that knows how to deal with players and doesn't just treat them as commodities - a people person. I doubt that he takes any crap either.
I almost hope that we don't sign this player though, cos I don't know if I can put up with the Coldplay jokes for the rest of the season.

I agree about needing a reliable keeper - we may have got something from Wales if Reuter's unfortunate slip up hadn't happened. Unfortunately, keepers can't have the luxury of making errors.I think this might be a mistake, a competent keeper is one of the most important positions to get right and we don't have one.
I'd still like to see Stryjek given a go at least he wouldn't get bullied he looks too big for that.
Used to have Neil Martin as a CF and if memory serves me well he was pretty useful so if this guy comes and does as well I'll be happy
I just hope he's not going to be Trouble and get red carded with a Rush of Blood to the Head. I heard he runs faster than the Speed of Sound and if he keeps us up with his goals it will be Paradise.

Missed a trick there not replacing red card with Yellow, like
He's the best header of a ball for a CF I've ever seen at Sunderland, he scored an absolute stunner at the Skunks in the early sixties from the edge of the box when we won 3-0.Brilliant.He scored the first goal I ever saw in my first game
Was that the diving header from a Monty goal kick. He's the best header of a ball for a CF I've ever seen at Sunderland, he scored an absolute stunner at the Skunks in the early sixties from the edge of the box when we won 3-0.Brilliant.

Can't remember Clockstander but I was in the Gallowgate end with my Dad and brothers and it was packed. Was that the diving header from a Monty goal kick.![]()
Yeh seen us win there more times than we lostCan't remember Clockstander but I was in the Gallowgate end with my Dad and brothers and it was packed.
Utter bedlam when the third went in I think John O'Hare scored one. We've often won at Sid James's despite what their fans think.
That's stretching it a bit Vince.Yeh seen us win there more times than we lost
Yeh - in the 60s & 70s we won a few.That's stretching it a bit Vince.
If I remember right it was only really when Shearer was at his prime that they had the upper hand in results against us.
I could be wrong though as my memory isn't what it was.
Funny I get bored listening to their songs!!!I got bored checking their songs on wickipedia.
